It sounds like the writer of the article had written it before she had even interviewed the woman in question, and just changed the name from Jane Doe to Juliet Shaw in the interests of being "accurate". I have little respect for tabloid journalists, they push their own agendas without giving a second thought for the ordinary people whose lives they might wreck.

It's not just the number of lies they printed - just about the only thing they got right seems to have been her name. It's the arrogant and bullying manner in which they treated her complaint.
Dont all papers lie? Thats why I dont read them

Not as blatantly as in this example. This just illustrates why I wouldn't even trust the Daily Mail to get the date right.

I love you Suedeeeeeeyyyy

You say another reason to hate the Daily Mail, but are there any reasons to actually like that rancid piece of glorified $h!t.

It's a waste of paper and quite frankly being used for loo roll, litter tray or chip paper is far better than it would ever deserve.

Daily Mail <3

I love meself some fascist crap :D

At least you dont appear to take it seriously though....

Problem is, too many people do....

I wonder how many poor tress are cut down for the Daily Mail :( Poor things.
The problem is joe public can't really be arsed to make an informed opinion on current affairs and world events. So, The Daily Mail proves a popular choice, it's just as manipulative and rubbish as The Sun except it has this glossy 'middle class' coating.

Which is why I think the Mail is worse than the Sun. A lot of Sun readers just buy it for the sport and/or don't take the rest of it seriously. The Mail masquerades as a "proper" newspaper and a lot of readers take it seriously. Listen to a Radio 5 phone in and it's not hard to spot the Mail readers.

Oh god I can imagine... ''the country is falling apart''... ''all these immigrants...'' "privatization is the way forward..." ''the tories are here to save us from the mess left by labour...'' (well that last bit has en element of truth but the answer certainly isn't the tories!
