Wish I knew that before I started the games. Sugababes are my fav girlgroup ever and thats one of my fav songs

 

To be fair, I was pretty gutted that Perfect Exceeder narrowly missed top 40 in its year too. :( That song is fantastic. It exceeds perfection.

Well, it's your poll, so you can do what you want, but I'd say carry on the way it is (i.e. year-end top 40 for each year, regardless of other years). It's just not 2006 without Chasing Cars there! :lol:

I guess you could do it to keep songs in the years they were released if that bothers people that much, but then you'd have to do some kind of odd crossover thing and take both Nizlopi and Shayne out of this poll, whilst keeping Snow Patrol and Take That in, and then go on normally taking songs from the previous years out from there in the other games.

 

Or keeping things as they are on this poll, but taking Nizlopi and Shayne out of the 2005 one, whilst also taking the 2004 songs out (although I don't think there are any in 2005, from what I can tell) but then sticking to the years of release after that would make more sense and be a bit less messy.

If you must do it this way, keep them in the year they sold the most- as it would just be a bit strange voting for Mad World (future example) in 2004, when it was really released in 2003, I dunno, it just doesn't 'feel' right :P

 

although I personally would prefer it if they stayed, but I don't mind either way

I don't think we'd be going back that far for it to be an issue :o

 

Although I'd love to do the 90s ones as it's my favourite decade, but I was under the impression it was only going to be maybe a 10 year thing and then some kind of best of thing? Or did I just make that up? We'd be here forever going back that far unless the game was sped up at some point :(

 

Plus, I don't think there'd be much interest in pre-2000 ones, as a lot of people here would be too young to remember anything but the absolute biggest hits...

You should do the decade-end top 40 aswell. I know like half of it is charity songs, but still!

A really good year i would say (The Kooks, Lily Allen, Gnarls Barkley, One, Beyonce and Put Your Hands Up For Detroit)! But i suppose one of the ladies (Beyonce, Rihanna, Shakira) will win! :wacko:
