Does anyone know why 'Gold Dust' is at #94? Advert, random play on Radio 1 or something?

I really do hope that Born This Way doesn't prevent Champion from getting to Number 1 this week

Y'all know how much of a Gaga loon I am, but yeah I agree. I want Champion to get a week, because Gaga will have 2 or 3 weeks starting next week. BTW won't get anywhere anyway, it'll be about top 20ish, then number 1 next week. I know we all said the same for Jessie J, but it's only just been premiered so it won't be number 1 in two days. This will be the real test of the on air on sale rule, as Jessie J had a bit of airplay/notice beforehand as it leaked before being available for radio airplay.

So glad to see GaGa this high, looks definite for a #1 next week! :w00t:

For songs that don't get played that much, yes. That Birdy girl (14 yo singer) got into the top 100 on iTunes just because of one play on Fearne's show the other week.

Well, I remember when 'Alors on Danse' had been randomly played on Radio 1 before entering their playlist, it shot up instantly very high firstly, e.g. from 200 to 60 or something like that. Still, very respectable, shows how underrated the song is. I'm about both Alors on Danse and Gold Dust.
