#3.

Though, as of this morning, the top 2 had a big lead, so even Lady G might take a while to bridge that gap...

& Finland & France according to twitter

A shame #1 on French iTunes means absolutely nothing as far as its official chart is concerned

Aww just as Jessie takes over, along comes GaGa.

Does Jessie taking over pose some sort of threat to Chipmunk for Sunday?

 at Jessie J back at number 1, unfortunate timing there! (although she has had a week)

Teenage Dream and DILAD both did this, and both were then knocked off after less than a day by Bruno Mars

Hopefully now that lots of people have heard 'Born this Way', 'Express Yourself' by Madonna will shoot up the charts. :kink:

Chipmunk is still ahead when combined (probably). He's been ahead all week so he will have improved a lot on his opening lead of 6k, so Jessie will need to get really far ahead again to overtake him officially, I can't see it happening.

Empire State Of Mind also did it, knocked off by Oopsy Daisy I think? (That's Chipmunk again, it's all linking together!!!)

Downloads and physicals are now compiled together in France too ;)

Came second! Thing something new!

That could apply to Gaga's new song too actually

I'm sorry, but that made no sense...

But the official chart is still the physicals-only one, no?

They have a chart in the USA which more accuratelt represents what's popular as it doesn't have chart-ruining airplay. It's called Hot Digital Songs and is not considered the official chart.

It's hardly appropriate for someone with Cheryl Cole in their signature to criticise anyone.

Yeah. There's still a chance, but I highly doubt it will happen though, unfortunately. Unless she manages to grab "the weekend effect" to some extent over the weekend and manages a big enough gap over them. I can see 'Price Tag' being pretty popular in clubs over this weekend, but who knows!
Anyone got a sneaky feeling she will end up being number 1 for weeks.

:heehee: Nice answer! for you yes!

Does anyone has a list or something with the fastest climbs to number 1 or in how many hours?

This is quite exciting actually. And I'm not even a GaGa loon

That makes 2 of us :(

No, because that's not a real record.

It's hard to say which is the "official" one, since we don't have a a radio chart show like you have on the bbc1, and people in France generally don't give a $h!t about the charts. But the album and single physicals+downloads charts have been officially launched last week and they are compiled by the official chart company, so it's a bit of a tricky situation.
