Holy ****

Have we EVER seen pop bars like that???

lol. We've seen quite a lot even bigger than that before.

The amazing thing is how short a time period that it got that lead, but the pop bar isn't that big (yet).

(Whoever made it did forgot Australia and Japan)

Also, her final spins in the US finished at around 2400-2500, unsure of the exact number, beating Britney's record of 619 with HIAM easily

I would suspect they didn't "forget" Australia and Japan, rather, it wasn't at #1 on their iTunes at the time it was made.

Australia definitely has the best top 5 on iTunes atm! :D

Nicely done Darren

Gaga's supremacy is unstoppable I'm afraid - not much on the mainstream that isn't now though... where's the good music gone?!

And Black and Yellow virtually KILLS my ears :(

Yeah, she is unstoppable. I don't think Born This Way is that good either, but I find it fascinating to see the world-wide domination going on at the moment! :o And Black and Yellow is AWESOME!!

LOL, #1 in every country, #1 for sure next week, and the week after, and the week after, I think we are going to end up with a Umbrella style #1  we could do with a track at #1 for a while, to break the one weekers, but not Umbrella style. I grab my coat.

Songs which spend a long time at #1 never have huge sales in any one week, their sales are spread out - GaGa will get 4 weeks maximum as her sales will, at least initially, be *extremely* frontloaded.

I see she got to #1 in Japan too. Not bad going GaGa. #1 worldwide less than 12 hours after it premiered.

To be fair, I listened to all the 2010 #1s in Japan a while back (because I was curious as to what they listen to, that is apparently so much better that US music isn't worth buying ), and Lady Gaga's music would fit in relatively well in their music scene, as it's VERY pop dominated over there.

I hope she can get official #1 over there. I think she'd be the first non-Japanese artist to do it since, of all things, er..... Blame it on the Girls by Mika.

And Black and Yellow is AWESOME!!

Its Amazing! :D I really love it.

24 Hours after it premiered.

Its only been available on iTunes for 21 Hours, so to #1 Worldwide is incredible! :D

Gaga has 100%, Jessie J at No.2 is on exactly 50%.

If iTunes is a 24 Hr rolling chart - Jessie is on 43.7%

a 36 Hr rolling chart - Jessie J is on 29.2%

a 48 Hr rolling chart - Jessie J is on 21.8%

Jessie J has probably sold near enough 12.5-17.5K today (correct me if I'm wrong), and on the basis that's it's a 48hr chart, then Gaga has sold around 55-65K in the last 21 hours since release.

Half that if it's a 24 Hr chart, then Gaga has around 30K.

I'd imagine Gaga will have around 40-50K by midnight, and top 5 is possible by Sunday, based on the 48Hr chart, she'd steamroll to possibly No.3.

The moment the hype dies down though it will come back again with it being constantly on radio and have a video out, its going to be massive for months and months, so she could remain #1 for months!

Rolling in the Deep is being used on a few ads on ITV1 and Channel 4 :D

It is definitely not a 24 hour chart. Deleted songs are still in the feed over 24 hours after deletion and they finally disappear pretty much bang on 48 hours after deletion.

It went #1 on Australia a couple of hours before Denmark, though, and Denmark is included. I understand Japan though :)

Oh and if this is true (let's get our perspective goggle on again) she's been selling at a rate of 44-52 copies per minute constantly since it was added to iTunes, including through the night. I think that's far too optimistic.

I don't, really, lots of artists sell that much in 24 hours. It is GaGa, after all, she was always going to have a huge debut.

What a shame for Chipmunk I hope he can hold onto his lead in the main charts. He was at the Alexandra Burke gig last night looking pensive and I imagine the calls he kept getting were about Champion dropping.I do like Gaga but her song is poor and nothing special,I understand that she has alot of hype but she could have come back with something stronger.Whomever had the picture of Britney returning to demolish gaga will have to change it.

^ Yeah, I really hope Champion can get #1. Lady Gaga is bound to get it on some other weeks, and Jessie J got it last week.

It must've been a nasty shock for him when Gaga decided to release her song early!

So Bray, I guess you think a 36 Hr chart is most likely? I'm sticking with the 24 Hr chart as it usually goes hand-in-hand with the midweeks and official chart positions.
PLEASE Jessie! Please grab the official number 1 one more week! When are the Brits? Are they this week or next? I forget.
