Well, it's climbed almost 25 places since the video was released! :D

Before the video was released, I believe she was at 54.

It's more like a plethora of songs overtook it after the BRITs. But yeah, I was very surprised at how low it was. :( I'm glad the video is out though. Hoepfully keeps it top 40. :)

It's not really had the full effect of music channels yet.

Plus, we have the famous weekend effect at the moment which doesn't work for Britney yet. I expect Britney to climb majorly (maybe into the top-10 again) next week.

If it was confirmed by the OCC, is there any word on She Said Prayin' and the Paloma version of Forget You?

 

Anyway, that 'The Hype Squad' version of Black And Yellow could go official top 100 this week as the OCC seem to have relaxed their rules on opportunistic covers (Cover Guru, #1 Bruno Mars Tribute Band and #1 Enrique Iglesias Featuring Ludacris & DJ Frank E Tribute Band - yes, that was a real thing - have all had top 200 hits this year, whereas they would never have been allowed to chart last year) and it's been top 100 on iTunes all week. They need to get the real version of BAY out already :angry: But it's not due for release until 5 March :(

 

EDIT: The Hype Squad - Black And Yellow was at #129 on last week's chart so should definitely get official top 100 this week.

It's comfirmed by the OCC, basically, because I'm listening to the 1Xtra Chart (which is compiled by the OCC, and is basically the best-selling "urban" tracks over the past 6 days) right now, and We Bring the Stars Out charted at #20. Forget You is playing right now, at #15 (I think), so I think they've combined it with the Paloma version.

 

I suspect She Said and She Said Prayin' will be seperated too.

Oh, right, I forgot about the 1Xtra chart. That's great news, Tinie will have 5 top 40 hits this week after all then :D Unless WBTSO somehow doesn't make it, although it's still #27 on iTunes so it should do.

 

It'll be annoying if She Said Prayin' does get combined just because not as many people complained about it, if the OCC are uncombining one they should uncombine the other. Forget You being combined makes sense as it is essentially just a live version of a 'remix' of FY! whereas WBTSO and SSP are medleys of WITS/M2I/PO and SS/Prayin' respectively.

Glad The Paloma Version of forget you is flopping, she's awful.

Actually, it was Written in the Stars that was at #20, but they played WBTSO in place of it. :blink: So I'm not so sure now.

 

If it was combined with Pass Out, they wouldn't chart it on the 1Xtra anyway, because they remove songs off the chart after 20 weeks, which we all know Pass Out has well exceeded. :lol:

Unrelated: The Cave is now down to #41 so I guess that's its chances of re-entering the top 40 gone. Should still go top 50 again though (LLM as well, as that's still #53). They should at the very least have 3 top 75 entries this week.

Are you actually being serious? Adele outstaged everyone completely.

 

Rihanna was decent but I preferred Adele, Tinie, Plan B and Arcade Fire to her.

Rihanna and Tinie's were my favourites, because I preferred the songs, hence enjoyed the performances more. Adele sang the best though, but she'd have a more difficult time entertaining me since she wasn't singing songs like Miami 2 Ibiza or Only Girl.
