Jessie now 67.1% of Adele combined, +6.8% from the last pop bar update - she's starting to gain a bit faster but still has a lot of ground to make up.

 

The OCC said yesterday Adele is 70% *ahead* of Jessie. Assuming they mean Adele had sold 170% of Jessie, not that Jessie had sold 30% of Adele, Adele is 49% *ahead* of Jessie on iTunes.

In comparison Madonnas 4 mintues was number 1 in 25 countries, Hung up in 47 countries Riannas Umbrella number 1 in 24 countries, even Bad Romance was number 1 in 23 countries.

18 is no big deal....it certainly has floped this way in the UK, only the video can help now, down to 8 in midweeks, i can see it dropping out top 10 by sundays chart.

Born This Way was played for 3 hours, and still managed to become the fastest selling single in iTunes History and continues to break records worldwide. It has slipped a fair bit in the UK but the fact it charted at #3 in 34 hours of release is not what a 'flop' does.

It may have broke an Itunes record but by means of number 1 in amount of countries and sales it has yet to break any records, if you would like to say otherwise then please do so :)

How is it a disappointing comeback? It sold 130k in its first week and went top 3 with 34 hours of sales and last week it gave GaGa her biggest sales week EVER, all without a video :wacko:

Why do people love to call a song flop when it has charted for such a small time? Do you expect a song without video or promo to be as successful as it would have been with video etc.? It's been released on Friday..if it's official release was on Monday it would have been number 1 100%!
