their singles are always soooo good when they want to be so yes, one last AMAZIN hurrah would do me just fine

I hope they dont split, they need Girls Aloud. While Cheryl has done well solo, she at the same time is fading, her current album after 3 months has still not managed 100,000 which clearly indicates her popularity has wained. Nadine and Nicola's albums didnt sell well either. I cant see any reason why they cant keep the band going and do solo projects in addition to it. If they split permanetly i would predict in 5 years none of them will be in any way relevant. It would be career suicide to end the band completly. That said, i just dont want them to split as i love them as a group. While some of their solo work was enjoyable it didnt strike a chord with me in the same way as Girls Aloud's music did so like others i will stick with what Nadine is saying and pray it is true.

I'm glad Nadine is back, I never thought she would tbh.

Cheryl was performing in Manchester last night, so that's pretty unlikely :P I just loved seeing them both anyway - my friends saw the blank expression on Nicola but I completely missed it :lol:

 

I actually saw her performance last night - I thought it was a bit boring in comparison to last week's, but that's obviously because it was a lot slower.

Cheryl is the worst thing ever to happen to Girls Aloud #justsayin

 

Anyway I'm still cautiously optimistic about this. Even though a new greatest hits is ENTIRELY pointless.

 

What a stupid thing to say, if it wasn't for Cheryl and Kimberley Girls Aloud would have ended in 2006 after the GH.

 

She isn't the one deciding "this is it" for Girls Aloud, all of them have been meeting for the past year (not only the inseparable friends of Cheryl, Kimberley and Nicola but the five of them), I'm sure they already decided months ago what they'll do, which doesn't mean it won't change if they feel like they can keep going on. Sarah is recording a solo album which will be probably out in 2013 and I can imagine Cheryl and Kimberley are probably going to start a family sooner rather than later, but I imagine both things can be postponed if they want to keep going as a band.

Such an incredible singles run! If the new one is even as good as Walk This Way or I Think We're Alone now I'll be happy, although I'm hoping for a solid 9 or 10/10 return!
