Faster sounds EPIC!

Not keen on Faster really, the production is far too 'dancey' for my liking.

I'm liking Faster

I've just said this over on PJ, It's VERY Alexis Jordan. I could wanna go "humm ahum ahum ahum" to the beginning of the track! This album is shaping up to very good. It's surprisingly all gelling really well together!

I really like Faster!!! Normally I never like the sound of 90 second previews, especially with only one listen. I want to hear some ballads now though! I always love The Saturdays ballads. :wub:

Faster really, really sounds amazing. It's sounds like an uptempo ballad, amazing. Tbh the two songs unlock are really already single material.

The thing is that even if every song is amazing, I doubt this album will do well. They have a dedicated fan base but as I have said numerous times how are they expecting to sell 300,000+ in albums when both single have spent less than 8 weeks top 40. Notorious would have spent less weeks top 40 had it not been for the reduction. My Heart Takes Over is also getting poor airplay... despite me excited for the album I am worried with how things are going to go.

What I like about 'Faster' is that I can hear how it fits quite well between 'Notorious' and 'My Heart Takes Over' on the track list. I'm hopeful that this album has a nice flow to it!

 

I'm not even going to think about how they chart, for now. That drama can wait until the week of release. :kink:

'Faster' is great! It's what Alexis Jordan's 'Happiness', should have sounded like to me. Enjoying that one a lot.

'The Way You Watch Me' is good. I'm glad it's not a single though. I think 'Faster' would serve better as a single than that, personally. But it's still a very good album track!

We'll probably get a preview each day won't we? Last Call is taking ages to unlock now.. it's on 88%, it was 86% earlier.

Faster sounds so much like Happiness! Which is a good thing :D

The Sats most successful singles have been one word (Erase Work from the memory) like Up, Ego and Higher, so hopefully if Faster was released it would follow that trend! :) I think I might be getting a bit ahead of myself haha. :P

Out of the two songs I prefer 'The way you watch me', It's got a kind of Moves Like Jagger kind of vibe to it for me which is really good. Maybe the full version of 'Faster' will be better :huh:

'The Way You Watch Me' was also wrote by Tanya Lacey and Carsten Mortensen according to Wikipedia, so out of the 12 tracks we know the credits for The Saturdays (& Una) have written 5 tracks, which is nearly half of the album, I hope they have wrote at least ONE more.

I agree with the poster on the last page who said that the clips all sound like a higher quality pop music than what they've done before. So true. This will be their greatest album by some distance...

'faster' sounds absolutely epic, I can't wait to hear THAT in full. :wub: 'the way you watch me' also sounds pretty good but not as good as the singles.

both previews disappointed me

 

i was really hooked on this alum after notorious & all fired up (and b-sides) but with MHTO and these previews i think it will be full of fillers
