'Empire State of Mind' is being skated to on Dancing on Ice this week. Will it shoot up the iTunes chart and return to the Top 40 next week?

right now I can't see a lot troubling the top 10 apart from maybe Tinie and Wiz (if it starts moving quicker) next week though we could get a new number 1 from The Wanted, it is for comic relief after all- thats our only hope atm for a shake up so lets hope it happens :cry:

 

I hope so. I'm not a huge fan of the song, but it's not too bad. It'll surely sell over 100,000, anyway! :D

The problem with Wiz might be that searching for 'wiz khalifa black and yellow' on iTunes, the real version is buried under loads of fake versions. Since Wiz Khalifa isn't really a big name, that could explain why he's not doing very well... I really hope he starts to pick up soon.

LOL, I'm sorry but that's a terrible excuse. There's TWO EPs linking to buy the single right at the top. The public aren't THAT stupid (well, maybe a few of them are, but not as many as you seem to think).

I'm just a person that likes quick turnover, this is just starting to annoy me now :(

Whenever I get annoyed with the charts, I get a grip on reality, realise it's just a f***ing chart, and just quit following them, only checking the chart casually every Sunday. But I don't discuss it anywhere, or go looking at midweeks or on iTunes every day. I guess if you don't have good self control this can be hard to do though :D

 

There have only been two times I've gotten to that point in the last few years though - in early 2007 I got pissed off with the general crappy quality of the charts so stopped following them for a good few months. I was only roped back in to see how Umbrella was doing the week of its release, and kind of stayed following it to keep tracking it. The other time was actually only last year. I quit taking as much interest in them from about May to July(-ish) but then somehow stumbled back in for reasons I've forgotten now! I don't think there was any reasons actually. Withdrawal symptoms maybe?! Just kidding.
