September 2, 201212 yr Well Alex wants "Heartbreak On Hold" as the 3rd single while the label wants "Tonight" as the 3rd single but alex wants that as the 4th single instead. Plus HOH would be perfect for an x-factor performance just brilliant. 'Tonight' is INFINITELY better, but nothing is going to do well so they should cut their losses and go back to the drawing board.
September 3, 201212 yr I really hope the next single does well and the X-factor performance really pushes her album sales up! Perhaps things will turn around in the coming months? :)
September 3, 201212 yr I think the best thing for her to do at the moment is to go away, record some ballads and good 'fun' songs and do a re-release, after a performance on X Factor if she can nab a slot. However, realistically, which how this era has gone I can't see any of that happening.
September 3, 201212 yr A big ballad is needed and a ballad should have always been on the cards for an October/ Novemer release to increase album sales, again the planning of this album and single decisions is disastrous and potentially finished her career.
September 3, 201212 yr RCA hasn't got much money?? They are one of the main flagship divisions of Sony Music Entertainment so to say they have no money is a little wide of the mark

I thoroughly agree, it was absolutely ridiculous to only have one ballad on the album (which happens to be weak). Although I suppose they didn't envision such a flop (I certainly didn't, even as late as the week before Let It Go's release I thought everything was fine!) so didn't know beforehand that they'd need a ballad single to try and sell the album. But still I think the album is too much samey generic dance-pop either way.
September 29, 201212 yr http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01590/p1_1590548a.jpg Alexandra Burke - Tonight (Featuring Dj Smash) tlxVvrG8UF8 This will most likely be the 3rd & final single off of "Hearbreak On Hold" album. Confirmation came via these tweets, plus i believe she's under a contract to release this as a single: Alexandra Burke ?@alexandramusic Cos baby 2night. I'm letting u know - I'm letting you go.... DJ SMASH !!! @djsmashforeverDJSmash Replies: DJ SMASH ?@djsmashforever @alexandramusic Looking forward for our release! The track goes awasome everywhere... let me know )
September 29, 201212 yr Can't wait to see this flop in at #177 *.* At least it's good I suppose and she isn't releasing shit like This Love Will Survive or bloody Fire.
September 30, 201212 yr Interesting as this is probably the best track on her album although that opinion is based on listening to the previews on iTunes. This should've been the lead single instead of 'Elephant' imo.
October 9, 201212 yr NOt being release as this era is over :) Yep,i guees she found her way out of the contract for this to be released as a single.
October 9, 201212 yr Yep,i guees she found her way out of the contract for this to be released as a single. Dumbest decision ever to sign the contract anyway
October 9, 201212 yr I know it was never going to do anything whatsoever, but it's a shame as I love this song.
October 13, 201212 yr I know it was never going to do anything whatsoever, but it's a shame as I love this song. Me too! It's really catchy and dancy and I really like the verses and dance breakdowns too!
October 18, 201212 yr My favourite track on the album - It's a shame it's not getting released as a tiny little bit of me hoped this would be a decent sized hit although deep down I know it would have scraped in at #68
August 29, 201311 yr Oh, I just realised that ' Heartbreak On Hold ' is the most viewed topic on the pop forum! Congrats Alex! If only these viewers turned themselves into sales!
