As much as I would love this to go to Number 1.. I can't see it happening. I think it will go Top 5 easily though and be one of their biggest selling singles

This is my fave single of the year so far, and I haven't even heard it! I'm even putting my Personal Chart on hold for tomorrow so I can chart the Sats :heehee:

Surely if they're being so specific about the music video going to music stations at 8.20, that is a sure sign that the song will be premiered on radio around 8.15?

I'm quite looking forward to the single premiering! I'm a huge Saturdays fan and desperately want them to be successful. Whilst I love the sound of Notorious, as some have already said I'm just a bit concerned it'll be a bit "marmite" to appeal to the right people. I still reckon it'll be a hit for them, but whether it'll have mass appeal I'm not so sure.

 

The girls don't exactly have the greatest track record of having perfect lead singles, If This Is Love, Forever Is Over, Missing You... (All of which I loved, personally - but weren't exactly monster hits), but I hope this changes things. I wouldn't get your hopes up of having a #1 next weekend, keeping in mind very, very few people have even heard any version of the song yet, let alone the finished article. I think promotion has been a bit limited so far, I don't think the majority of people know there's a new single even coming, unless you're somewhat of a fan and look for that kind of info of course. I really like the sound of it, different to what they've done before, but whilst I like it, it does seem like they've specifically chosen a song that's incredibly catchy, commercial, urban, which strays from their usual sound, and it seems evident that they've only strayed to try and get that elusive #1, which I'm all for from a business sense and as a fan. If picking an incredibly mainstream song is going to get them more attention, and most importantly - SUCCESS - then it has to be done.

 

All in all, I'm looking forward to it.

Though I'm not as keen on this version of the song, I much prefer the remix, though I'm sure that's just cos I'm used to that version now. Kinda like listening to the freemasons remix of green light and then listening to the original :unsure:

I LOVE the video. It's easily their best to date. Amazing cinematography and they attitude is great.

 

The song is definitely a grower. It's catchy but not too obvious, so it doesn't get burned off at the first listens.

I like the video but the song doesnt really seem to go anywhere, I dont see much of a hook. Hopefully the second single will be better their lead singles always seem to be a bit weak.

I love it so much! Love the introduction, wasn't expecting that from the remix so that was a nice surprise. The beginning part of the video is amazing too, love the secretary look haha.

 

Plus, Frankie's part is :wub:! Really hope this is a big hit for them.
