March 13, 201115 yr Tenth week top 15 for this (eleventh week top 20). Weird as it doesn't feel like it's been top 15/20 for that long  Not to mention its 5 weeks in the top 40 before it climbed into the top 20. I don't like this song but it doesn't sound a bit old somehow.
March 13, 201115 yr Looks like the UK might become a little like the US now we have the 'on air on sale' system in place, in that songs will peak on the album release week, even if they've been around for a month or more beforehand (see Noah/Avril). Usually though they go back down again quite a bit the week after the album release in the US so it will be interesting to see where Avril and Noah are next week... yeah its strange but its the record companies marketing thats at fault.the songs chart runs are ridiculous - an initial high peak depending on how big the artist is, then a drop then a slow rise again as airplay begins, then a qiuck rise as the videos released (although if your an indie artist like noah and the whale it has less affect as mtv plays videos of sexy bitches like rihanna and other pop artists) then a fall again and a sharpe rise when the album/other versions of the song are released.the record companies have to start being smarter on their release strategies so everything comes into line to give thew song a decent peak - after all a high peak=more airplay and longevity!!
March 13, 201115 yr Physicals didn't do much for this then  Edited March 13, 201115 yr by chart wizard
March 13, 201115 yr Lol, another song stalling at #11 for Tinie. Oh well, #1 isn't too bad for a 6th single. Edited March 13, 201115 yr by Word Life

March 13, 201115 yr 'Wonderman' Shame it looks like it wont go Top 10 at this point :( Hopefully, 'I Need A Doctor' is Top 10 :D

March 13, 201115 yr Greg will obviously win, he is so hot. I hope Dr Dre has managed to knock Bruno out of the top 10 - I think its possible.
March 13, 201115 yr Well at least Tinie is #12 and not another #11 hit. Was really hoping he's go top 10 with this :( Ah well, at least it'll easily outrun and outsell Invincible. In fact, this is only one week off Invincible's total in the top 40 and it's only just peaked - I just hope it doesn't fall as fast as Invincible now.
March 13, 201115 yr its a shame this couldn't even match or outpeak Invincible at least :( I guess it will have more longevity though
March 13, 201115 yr yeah its strange but its the record companies marketing thats at fault.the songs chart runs are ridiculous - an initial high peak depending on how big the artist is, then a drop then a slow rise again as airplay begins, then a qiuck rise as the videos released (although if your an indie artist like noah and the whale it has less affect as mtv plays videos of sexy bitches like rihanna and other pop artists) then a fall again and a sharpe rise when the album/other versions of the song are released.the record companies have to start being smarter on their release strategies so everything comes into line to give thew song a decent peak - after all a high peak=more airplay and longevity!! Surely the Noah and the Whale release couldn;t have gone any better? To me, there's nothing about either the band or song to suggest it would've sold anywhere near this many if it had been held back. The constant increasing airplay and exposure is because it's been in the top 40 for so long, radio would never have touched it beforehand because the band have only had one hit with their previous two albums. If it had been released last week before the album it wouldn't have had anywhere near as much exposure. I reckon two weeks top 40 maximum?
March 13, 201115 yr Oh, this is #12?? Woops, okay, well, stalling at #12 then  Not that bad... Edited March 13, 201115 yr by Word Life
March 13, 201115 yr More Britney-based euro pop from her. I wonder why she still records this stuff Because it's awesome!!! :D As are Wonderman and I Need a Doctor, while we're at it. :D
March 13, 201115 yr Dr. Dre at #11 - possibly could scrape the top 10 next week. This is very very slowly growing on me although I'm still of the opinion the intro is the only really good part of it.
