I knew they were showing the BRITs performance, but I was kind of hoping for a proper video. Well apparently she's releasing 'Set Fire to the Rain' next, so hopefully we'll get a decent video for that.

This song is really old. What's it doing so high only just now?

 

Thriller / Heads Will Roll down to #15, I'm guessing a peak of 23 or 24 and out of the top 40 next week then possibly one more week top 100 (basically mirroring SITR/U but slightly lower positions).

 

Mann & 50 Cent are at #11, if any song is going to knock out Sweat it may as well be that as it's a pretty good song. I also wouldn't mind too much if Kanye knocks Snoop out. It looks unlikely Sweat will go top 10 officially unless Peter Kay et al drop out anyway :(

I swear it's been around for AGES, although I think it's just one of those songs that got popular in the US at the time, but didn't get promoted in the UK. It's Fearne Cotton's Record of the Week on Radio 1, I believe. Being Record of the Week can really help a song sometimes. When Scott Mills did it with Alors on danse, it almost went top 20 on iTunes, and chart at #41 officially, all from just 6 plays on Radio 1 that week! :lol:

I'm surprised Radio 1 haven't promoted the song. The only time I heard it was on Ready For The Weekend, it's strange cos Radio 1 love David Guetta, and they don't exactly hate Snoop. I mean they don't like Pitbull yet they play On The Floor

I kind of do too tbh. Buzzin' is absolutely massive. It'll go top 10 no problem in the future. Kanye, however, I think could be approaching his peak (although I did think the same a few weeks ago, and look what happened there. :lol:).
