What will happen is there will be 10 rounds, the first being 1990, then 1991 etc. up to round 10 which will be 1999. After the 10 rounds, the top 4 from every year will then be put together for one final rate which will make up a top 40 of the decade. How you rate the songs; you do not rate every song that hit number one, you just rate your ten favourites and your least favourite. You give +15 points to your favourite song, and the rest are as follows; This is to hopefully stop ties from happening inside the top 3. +15 Favourite Song +12 2nd Favourite Song +10 3rd Favourite Song +08 4th Favourite +06 5th Favourite +05 6th Favourite +04 7th Favourite +03 8th Favourite +02 9th Favourite +01 10th Favourite -02 Least Favourite, or Most Hated depending on what way you look at it Below are the songs you need to rate from. You have 2 days for every round to rate. Round nine - 1998 should come up on Tuesday morning. Edited March 20, 201114 yr by danielGaGa

March 20, 201114 yr 2nd and 3rd for The Prodigy :w00t: Well, they're sort of right at the bottom of the qualifiers list but I suppose that's partly because of the amount of #1s in 1996...? Whatever, just great to see them both straight into the final :D 15 The Drugs Don’t Work classic - on the topic of The Verve am I the only one who LOVED ‘Love Is Noise’? :( 12 I’ll Be Missing You 10 Your Woman 8 You’re Not Alone 6 Spice Up Your Life 5 Mmm Bop shut up 4 I Believe I Can Fly 3 Teletubbies Say “Eh Oh!” shut up, the Teletubbies were a very big part of my life 2 Barbie Girl awful but can be decent if you’re in the mood for it 1 D’You Know What I Mean? -2 Don’t Speak I’ll save you the :puke: spam and just say this is my second least favourite song of all time and I’m going to be extremely disappointed when this inevitably wins the voting for this round EDIT: Actually, looks like The Verve might win - brilliant. I'd love to give Chem Bros points but I have to vote honestly and I've never heard BRB. Edited March 20, 201114 yr by Bray

March 20, 201114 yr If Aqua qualifies for even the wildcard round I'll officially lose my faith in this site. I can understand Whigfield qualifying in a $h!t year for #1s such as 1994, but 1997 is the second best year for #1s ever (after 1998 ). Would be just insulting to even call that one of the best :( Also Puff Daddy and his utter faux-sentimental money-grabbing tosh, but I'm pretty sure that won't qualify anyway.
March 20, 201114 yr The Verve are killing this so far :o I'm really surprised, I didn't expect so many people to love TDDW Then again it *is* a classic :kink: Edited March 20, 201114 yr by Bray
