I don't think Bad Romance is generic at all, its very original in fact- On The Floor is generic, the lyrics, the rapper, the music etc

anyway, who'd have thought this time last year that Jennifer Lopez would be storming to number 1 :o and there was I thinking she had past her prime

I don't think much of the song tbh its pretty lazy imo, but I would like to see it go to number 1 as it would be something fresh and well, anything other than another week by Adele!

I reckon people were thinking that in 1998 when Cher stormed to #1 out of nowhere with 'Believe'. Then Cher went on to spend 7 weeks at #1 and became the biggest selling single of the year too.

Looking at the release schedule, there's nothing in the coming weeks that screams "next UK #1 right here" so either 'On The Floor' will remain no. 1 for a couple of weeks, or the all conquering Adele will return to #1 once again with 'Someone Like You'. I doubt 'OTF' will be this years biggest selling single though.

If it features Lil Wayne it's guaranteed flop here
I don't see anyone seriously challenging J-Lo next week, myself.

THIS

Hopefully BEP won't get another #1 as the second version is down to 47!

Does anyone reckon Olly Murs - Heart On My Sleeve will chart today for it's 3 week? At the start of the week it was at about number 29 and then dropped a few places to about 32 and then on Wednesday in the midweeks it was at number 35. Ever since Wednesday it kept dropping and was in the low 40's/50's on iTunes. Does anyone think it can still chart in the top 40 today?? x

22. Broken Record - Katy B

73. Hey (Nah Nah Nah) [Milk & Sugar vs. Vaya Con Dios] [Radio Edit] - Milk & Sugar & Vaya Con Dios

Katy B - #19

I am glad she is moving up.

Katy B  I'd totally forgotten her in song of the year OTF's domination! She should easily get top 10 I think!
Seen "On The Floor" advertised on 4Music. Also, I love "All Night Long"(album version). The single version removes the best verses, although I love the slightly faster beat.
:cheer: Go Katy B hope it can go top 5 :)
this week looks like I'll be partying with anthems such as song of the year On The Floor and Party Rock Anthem :D

Katy B now at #18

I smell another UK top 10 hit for her
