I remember being totally shocked when Mark Snow went in at #2. I bought it that week as I just saw it in the local record shop and I was a massive X-Phile back in the day, really wasn't expecting it to trouble the charts at all though.
March 27, 201114 yr Wow, that channel is great  Nostalgia heaven. Thanks for the link, Euphorique! Now excuse me while I spend the next couple of hours watching every video there... Also, this week's 1996 retro is great, again! Very unique top 3 with two instrumental songs there :D 2001 is naff though (for once), no thanks to crappy new entries from Stereophonics and Craig David. Bleurgh.

Good :D I am enjoying posting a bit of 90s! I was a bit surprised too (bought it that week as well) but it got totally overshadowed by Firestarter. There was another veriosn of the X Files theme too wasn't there (DJ Dado or something??)

It basically was a dancier version of the track wasn't it and made it sound pretty much like Children.
March 27, 201114 yr Yes, there was. It basically was a dancier version of the track wasn't it and made it sound pretty much like Children. Yep, DJ Dado indeed. Oops, forgot the 1996 retro: 1996 http://www.chartstats.com/image/r23706_100.jpghttp://www.chartstats.com/image/r23707_100.jpghttp://www.chartstats.com/image/r23592_100.jpg 01. March 27, 201114 yr 5 (LMFAO, Cee Lo, Peter Kay, Katy Perry, Glee) 2 13 21 Those figures don't add up  Reg f***ed up again Edited March 27, 201114 yr by Bray
March 27, 201114 yr Haha maths FAIL by Reggie, not as good as the FAIL from last week (when they played The Wanted as a 'number 1 contender' when it had already reached 3)
March 27, 201114 yr Why on earth do they give out the stats at the beginning when it instantly shows that last week's #1 won't be there again.
March 27, 201114 yr I only think there's 1 new entry from Katy Perry; no doubt Maguire has fallen out of the top 40 if from Tuesday-Thursday is dropped 30-32-36. Great new entries though, nice to see E.T. picking off, I genuinely thought it'd be a massive flop. Can't really it seeing going top 10 or even top 20.
