Posted March 30, 201114 yr S Club 7 reunite to celebrate Jon taking over as Frankie Valli in West End musical Jersey Boys. Some pics. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/artic...pened-Paul.html
March 30, 201114 yr :o He i.e Paul looks like he should join slimmers club not S club they all look really unhealthy and old.Only Rachel as the exception.
March 30, 201114 yr Always nice to see bands like from my childhood/school years back together, if only for posing for a photo. A comeback definitely wouldn't work. It's always odd though because people like Robbie Williams who are always in the spotlight age gradually in front of you and you don't really notice but seeing them all together after 8/9 years, it looks like a completely different group of people. Paul's unrecognisable, even his face barely looks the same. Jo's morphed into a blonde Jessie Wallace  S Club 7 really remind me of being 11/12, maybe moreso than anything else, I loved Miami 7 and Bring It All Back, when it eventually came out on single!
March 30, 201114 yr I love this! I've always thought it was rather sad that they've not kept in touch so it's good to see them altogether. Needless to say Paul looks like a different person but hey, a guy's gotta eat.
March 30, 201114 yr Tina's looking considerbly paler than I remember her. And I think poor Jo and Paul go without saying here.
March 30, 201114 yr Brings back so many memories when I was a kid  Nice to see them all together and seems to be on good terms. Some have changed a lot more then others :o
March 30, 201114 yr I miss them so much. :( I still listen to their music all the time. Even though if those songs were released now, I'd probably hate them, but I genuinely loved them so much when I was younger.
March 30, 201114 yr S Club/7 rate? Go on then; 11 Bring It All Back - Brilliant debut, one of my favourite 90s songs 09 S Club Party 09 Two In A Million - Lovely ballad, sounds far more dated than their other singles now though 08 You're My Number One 10 Reach 09 Natural 09 Never Had A Dream Come True A classic ballad, I slightly preferred Have You Ever which is probably an unpopular opinion 10 Don't Stop Movin' One of the best British pop songs of the 00's, it made it three CLASSIC pop songs out of four releases 09 Have You Ever This and NHADCT were the best Children In Need single duo ever, by a country mile (not that there's much/any competition) 08 You 04 Alive Crap comeback single imo, tried to re-create Don't Stop Movin' and failed miserably 10 Say Goodbye This came out the week I finished high school, it was very apt, I know it's not one of their 'classics' but I love it 07 Love Ain't Gonna Wait For You LOVE the bridge on this but the chorus is a damp squib and the production always sounded very tinny to me Most of these have nostalgia points added on, let's face it, they take me right back to being 11-16 years old and carefree  I have to say that they also had surprisingly high quality album tracks - off the top of my head - I Really Miss You, Show Me Your Colours, Straight From The Heart, I'll Be There (Tina's moment to shine!), Bring The House Down, Stand By You, and my personal favourite - Let Me Sleep - were all fantastic. I always preferred S Club 7 to Steps personally.
March 30, 201114 yr Tina was a true QOL. Jo and Paul look AWFUL. The rest look good enough though. I miss them alot too, remind me SO much of my school days and watching Miami/LA7 after school - wasn't it one of the highest rated shows on CBBC ever or something?! And I LOVED 'Alive' Rich! :( It sounded so funky and I love the middle-eight.
March 30, 201114 yr I used to love S Club when I was younger, they were like the big thing back then, now they seem pretty dated :P they look so different there (and safe to say not their best :kink: ) :o I can only recognise Jo, Bradley and Rachel on first glance- the one on the end looks dangerously pale :o and: 08 Bring It All Back 07 S Club Party  ?? Two In A Million ?? You're My Number One 11 Reach - an anthem of my childhood :D ?? Natural 09 Never Had A Dream Come True  10 Don't Stop Movin' ?? Have You Ever ?? You ?? Alive ?? Say Goodbye ?? Love Ain't Gonna Wait For You only really know the classics :P Edited March 30, 201114 yr by chart wizard
March 30, 201114 yr Author Loved I Really Miss You beautiful song. Rachel on lead vocals. mtkO_n_kMQU
March 30, 201114 yr That's AMAZING. I need to dig out that Flopstars Go Bad thread. Paul Cattermole's transformation is PERFECT.
March 30, 201114 yr Tina usually had a tan back in the day. Now she looks likes she's bathed in Daz! It's so weird seeing the band together again, it's like that pic of S Club 8 all back together again, although all them got hotter/buffer.. S Club 7 have the reverse effect

And I LOVED 'Alive' Rich! :( It sounded so funky and I love the middle-eight. Same, and yep, it was nice having a band that were singers and actors (playing exaggerated versions of themselves), I just found it really novel plus the show was actually funny, and didn't treat the audience like idiots like so many CBBC shows do - Miami and LA 7 in particular were very well written. Brilliant example of cross marketing/promotion and it's no wonder that they managed so many #1/2 hits. allSTARS/ITV copied the format of course a couple of years later with StarStreet but they were ridiculously inferior in every way.
March 30, 201114 yr Hannah looks pale & washed out, Paul looks awful, Jo looks old and like a tarty air-hostess and Frankie & Bradley don't look great either. Rachel and Hannah have kept their looks, as well as being the most sucessful. They look great in their picture together.
