June 1, 201114 yr Glad James is through, but WOW he's almost as smug as New Bounce (not quite though!) at Amanda choosing Gay & Alan - fair play! EDIT: A twist? :manson: Blatantly the obligitary wildcard - though the only act worth bringing bac imo is David & Karen or Joe... Edited June 1, 201114 yr by Liаm
June 1, 201114 yr I didn't watch this as The Apprentice was on, but I'm very pleased Les won the public vote, hooray for variety :D I'm glad the dancer got through as well, although I bet the judges weren't expecting that!
June 1, 201114 yr Favoured the Apprentice over this, but watching Les' performance, that's a deserved win. I just watched the results quickly. Btw, Avril could have done so much better than that. I've never really rated James. I really don't get him. He dances alright, but from where I'm standing, the only thing buoying him up is his autistic sympathy story. Not insulting autistic people, I don't get his act. at Amanda putting Gay and Alan through though. I like them, but it was clear the judges were going to put James through. I don't care about the twist. I'll just find out what it is tomorrow and be done with it. If it does happen to be a wildcard thing, they'd better bring back David and Karen. That's all I'm saying. June 2, 201114 yr Jessica  She was the only one I was REALLY looking forward to! She was good, but let herself down a little - she could've done more. I like this version of the song though, and she's still one of the best thus far in the semis (James being the best so far). EDIT: She didn't choose her song? :o I bet the whole show's corrupted tbh - Simon wasn't keen so she doesn't have a chance - poor Jessica :( Edited June 2, 201114 yr by Liаm
June 2, 201114 yr Oh dear! She was going to say something! Dec managed to shut her up!!! Did you see her face when Simon told her she weren't that great. I thought she was going to attack him.
June 2, 201114 yr Poor Jessica :( She should have just done an 'Adele type performance' and just with the piano. The arrangement of the song was horrible and it didn't suit her voice. The fact she didn't choose the song is only going to add to the rumours of the BGT fixing thats going around today :o
June 2, 201114 yr Ahaha she let out that the producers choose the songs for the contestants - Good on you Jessica  Edited June 2, 201114 yr by Griffo
June 2, 201114 yr I didn't think she was actually that bad. Simon was incredibly rude there, deeming it more important to focus on a fly than actually show any interest in the act performing on his show. His comments weren't really justified either, I'm not surprised she ended up in tears. :( On the plus side for Jessica, I think she would have struggled to win people's votes had she performed normally and bizarrely probably stands a better chance now.
June 2, 201114 yr I'd say she was in the top 5 best so far actually... That dog act though  Awful... The dogs did nothing! @ Amanda!
June 2, 201114 yr I'm not surprised she didn't pick her own song. One of the duos last year said on air that the producers picked the song for them, to which Simon rudely interrupted them. Also, how the heck did that Mexican act get through? It was painful to watch.
June 2, 201114 yr And then she tried to illicit the sympathy vote. You'll need more than divine intervention to get through, missy.
June 2, 201114 yr Ahaha she let out that the producers choose the songs for the contestants - Good on you Jessica  It was the best part of her act
June 2, 201114 yr And then she tried to illicit the sympathy vote. You'll need more than divine intervention to get through, missy. So she was allowed to make her speech but the previous act wasn't allowed to say who really chose her song.
June 2, 201114 yr You can tell that Simon Cowell chose the songs for them. But it was an amazing performance. I can see the pound signs lighting up in his eyes. Although the less said about Glee, the better.
