What a mess. It's just her shouting over 'Pon De Floor' (which I hate anyway) ... how can anyone say it's actually good?! :|

OMG I love this mess

Going nowhere, but I can totally see me playing it out loud and enjoy it so much !

I could as well get totally bored of it soon.

Love this. I kinda wish that Pon De Floor was used a bit more cleverly but it's still ace. I love it when Bey goes hard.
Whilst I do agree that it doesn't really go anywhere and that it's not too different from the demo, I do love it lots! I love the bridge or whatever it is that plays just before the song finishes and it's really good to hear something different! Glad to see it doing so well on UK iTunes too, hopefully a Worldwide #1! :D
this song is a bit of a mess and no where near good enough for a lead single, but strangley i don't hate it...
Im in love with this now!

Verdict after first listen:

What the f*** was that? Beyonce shouting the same line over and over again for what feels like an eternity (I refuse to believe that was under 4 minutes, if felt like a lifetime). Where's the melody? The tune? The anything?! So disappointed, because I loved almost every song off I Am... Sasha Fierce :(

Hmm a bit uncertain about this. It's not grabbing me instantly on first listen but I respect her for trying something completely different to what she did last Era. Unfortunetly both GaGa and Beyonce are not doing it for me with comebacks and so soon too. Both needed more time IMO. Prefer Jessie J, Rihanna & Adele as the top Divas right now and JLO.

I'm so shocked it's nearly top 10 :o If the rumour about the vid is true she might even go number 1, not much competition! I love the song, and am so glad it's doing well , but I honestly never thought it'd get off to such a flying start with barely any airplay! :o The downside to this is my Bey looning circa 08/09 (which you guys will have missed as I wasn't a member here then) will begin again

Well I just played the CDQ for the first time and I didn't mind it. That's not to say I enjoyed it. The last 30 seconds are probably the best if only because you know it's about to end... even in radio edit form it felt about six minutes long. I'm indifferent to it.

Can I just hop in to say I think it's a real shame she used a Major Lazer sample? I love Pon De Floor, Girls (Run the World), not so much.
Not doing great in the US considering she is massive there and it is their norm for songs to be released on their premiere date. I have to say I am suprised to see it so high up already in the UK, but then again Britney's TTWE was at #11 about a day after release and look where that went.
