I'm also revising my prediction from yesterday that Judas would chart between #16-#20 officially this week, to now charting between #21-#25 this week; at a guess I would say #23.

Wow, I remember than Nathan guy from Big Brother Celebrity Hijack a couple of years back :o I did like one of his songs at the time, and I remember not minding Caught Me Slipping. I saw Diamonds on one of the cheap music channels and it's quite good actually :o Surprised it's doing relatively well, that was the first time I'd heard of it tbh!

The Time by the Black Eyed Peas peaked at #2 on iTunes within days of its release, then fell out of the top 10, and got #1 a month later, so...

I hope Fast Car can get back in the top 10!! Quite unfortunate that it got top 10 only to be overtaken again immediately after. A similar think happened with N-Dubz and one of their songs, and also What's My Name? (although that managed to get back into the top 10 and went on to be relatively successful in the end).

Judas falling :( :o I guess the video will give it a boost, but number 1 looks unlikely this week, that means Wretch has it :D good to see it top 10 already- I like Judas but Unorthodox is much better imo

Starboy Nathan?! :o I vaguely remember off BB: Celebrity Hijack - I didn't know there was still interest in him

why is fast car charting
I'm kind of shocked so many people here watched Celebrity Hijack!?!? I mean, I watched bits of it, but that was just because I watched like 8 episodes of Friends everyday on the same channel. :coffee:

 7. Unorthodox (Radio Edit) [feat. Example] - Wretch 32

Why do I have a bad feeling this is going to stall behind LMFAO now? :(

Because LMFAO have a massive lead?

I do hope TTWE finally enters the top 20. Its been so close for the past few days.

Actually, it hasn't really; its generally been around 23-27% away from the #20 spot and just looks closer than it is because the pop bars are small down there.

Come on Fast Car get into the top 10 again!!! :(

Gaga hasn't had the mass publicity this time around, there was a lot of hype last time around and everyone knew when BTW was being released - it may be just me but Judas' release seems to have come out of the blue and I suspect there will be a lot of folk who don't even realise it's available.

A combination of that and the fact it's a sub par retread of Bad Romance anyway.

Judas seemed to have the same amount of mass publicity as Born This Way. IMO the song just isnt that brilliant, its not bad just sounds quite generic. Gaga's Fame/Fame Monster releases all sounded very unique to her but these last two singles have sounded as though they are just a mish-mash of a lot of other songs out there.

Disagree, its release was brought forward so there will be a number of people who expected it out on Tuesday that aren't aware it is out yet. In contrast, the BTW premiere/release date was set in stone months in advance and the track actually appeared on that date.

Even with a similar amount of publicity (which I don't agree it has actually had), that won't have corrected any deficit arising from it being brought forward.

I think the problem with the song is that it isn't as instant or catchy as BTW. Which should mean it will have a longer chart run than BTW.

Both BTW and Judas sound like Madonna songs to me, or at the very least, more retro sounding songs than ANYTHING of The Fame/Monster. Both still sound like GaGa/Madonna songs.

No, it didn't at all. The premiere was EXTREMELY low profile compared to BTW. The vast majority of people probably don't even know it's out yet. It was a bit of a shock it even went as high as #2 IMO.

Really? I totally disagree. 'Born This Way' didn't click with me until i'd listened to it about 12 times, infact i hated it on first listen... 'Judas' on the other hand, i adored from first listen. So much more instant than 'Born This Way'. I guess its just personal taste/opinion though...
