In all fairness though, she does when there's the right available promotion. (i.e. X Factor) I'm really hoping that she'll be on BGT but I seriously doubt that. Also, she's not the only person to not promote all the time. When will LMFAO come over here and promote? Sometimes promotion just helps songs, but it's radio and video support that help the songs out mainly. If they don't get the airplay, they're pretty much stuffed, whoever the artist may be. So radio support is to blame just as much as promotion. (I know this post may seem hypocritical or whatever but I hate it when people claim a certain artist "doesn't deserve top 10")

 

I just think at the end of the day, there isn't anything big enough (that isn't X Factor, BGT or the BRITs) for anyone to perform. We need TOTP BACK. Particularly in the download era. And NOT on a Friday/Saturday or Sunday night!

Intruth after seeing some of her promo appearances in America I can understand why she is avoiding anymore live appearances.She still seems to be miming and her dancing for want of a better word is just wretched.I think she is both physically and emotionally just past it.Any good chart positions are just a bonus but I think she is finished.

I can't believe 'Fast Car' is so high off the back of that incredibly crap performance on BGT. If he wasn't ugly or fat, then no one would be interested and would have just told him to go on X Factor. Ugh.

Also don't expect ANY glee tracks to enter the top 40 (officialy) they will no doubt enter top 40 on Itunes but nowhere near top 40 this week. Looking likely for 8 new tracks top 40. Where's Neyo & Pitbull & Afrojack Now :/ it really deserved top 5!

I didn't know The Wanted had two versions of Gold Forever- that must put them in the high 30s or low 20s overall

 

30 - Both are dropping so it shoudl end up around #32-35 officialy this week which is really dissapointing. I think The Wanted are looking likely to do a Saturdays with Album 2 tbh.

Have you listened to Femme Fatale? Best album in AGES. Granted, I know she's probably had very little input into the actual songs, but it's Britney. Who cares?! :D

I have listened to it and I used to like Britney well into the Circus era but honestly Femme Fatale is poor.One techno, earache dance tune after the next that just merge into the other.There is no individuality, no Britney stamp, I can tell she just turned up to record songs she has little input in but surely her patient fans deserve better.

The four highest new songs (Wretch 32, Sammy King, Starboy Nathan and Twenty Twenty) are all by British artists. Good to see some new British music finally showing up. :D

BGT was truly dire, Fast Car was the only act that lifted the show.I think they were asking people to send in youtube tapes of their act towards the end because they had such rubbish acts.The standard has dropped so much plus the guy whose act was popping his eyes to Mr Bombastic-there are truly no words.
