Firework.... although a close call.

I KNOW, it's dreadful!

 

It's awful. I still don't understand the love for it. I think it's her best selling single actually. Has sold more than CG and Kissed a girl.

Is it the vocal that annoys people or the naff lyrics? I don't think its difficult to see why its her biggest selling single though, whether you like it or not.

Maybe both really. But i do think it is difficult to see why it is her biggest single. It's difficult to see why most singles are bigger hits then what other songs should be. It's difficult to know what people like and what they don't.

Well it was performed on X Factor and subsequently used during every show when Dermot walked on stage and that helped it to have a very healthy chart run around then and no doubt the Chritsmas market helped bouy it too (what with the Fireworks connection). Plus its easily her most mass appealing single so far.

I like Katy Perry, but sometime I don't understand her choices...

It was obviously a sensible choice considering the amount of chart sucess it's getting as the albums FIFTH single.
