I disagree with this. BTW was never going to be a hit with the casual buyer but everyone I know, that has heard it, loves Judas and most of them hated BTW.

I think both 'Born This Way' and 'Judas' were/are both good enough to get #1. I just think that the timing of their releases and the lack of promotion of them is what has caused them to underperform.

Do we think Sammy King can hold on to the top 40 for Sunday? It was at #32 on Thursday's midweek but its down to #62 on itunes after being at #20 earlier. I think it could be close whether it manages it or not.

I don't think it will be top 40 to be honest - as well as older songs re-overtaking it there's also Tinie, Pitbull and Beyoncé which are certain to be ahead on Sunday but haven't shown up in the mids yet. If it does go top 40 it'll be at 39 or 40.

I think the track is only available on downloads, it was dropping with every update each day, I can't see it remaining top 40 come Sunday, as Beyonce, Pitbull and Tinie will probably push it out.

Really strange how that Paulette version of Dirty Talk is still floating around! :lol: The Wynter version's getting hardly any airplay, yet people love it enough to substitute a fake version :o I'm assuming the original has been deleted then for the pending release?

We need to make sure we tell everybody we know about the new remix out. And if you're driving anywhere, or on a bus, or even just at home, play it really loud so everybody hears it. :)

 

It physically pains me to see it falling already. :(

Hmmmm. That's a good point! :o It's doing really well for an album track. :) Infact, could it become the best-selling album track of all-time? Obviously Someone Like You was going to hold the title, but that's been released as a single now, so I think the current title-holder must be Game Over (it was not released as a single, but peaked at #12 on iTunes and had a music video).

 

Britain's Got Talent would be great exposure for it. :) If I had known this would happen, I probably would've auditioned and performed it, and hope I'd be shown in the episode. My rap skills aren't very good, but I could give the hook a decent shot. :)
