I don't know why they don't do an actual page for forthcoming singles. They could get a lot of sales through that.

Yep, it is, someone I know from the Retro Bar parties has connections there, and he has a schlager-loving friend that managed it to get onto the playlist. I think Haba Haba and Rockefeller Street would be big hits if they did well in the contest, and worryingly I can see Jedward's song charting after the contest too...

Haba Haba I agree with as it's incredibly universal, I'm not so sure about Rockefeller Street. I guess Lipstick's already been a top 200 hit officially here, it got as high as #60-ish on iTunes when it first came out :o If it makes the final, it will almost certainly go higher than that, if not then it still might as there'll be huge press over it in the tabloids 'JEDWARD MISS EUROVISION FINAL' which will ignite interest.

It's obviously too logical  I agree that they should separate the pre-orders completely into a pre-order chart with two categories, albums and singles - and leave the top 200 albums to just be those that are already available.

Rich is right, Lipstick will get a boost whether they get to the final or not  Not that I mind tbh, I really like Lipstick

I actually like it as a song too. I just hate Jedward. If they could swap songs with Eric, he would be less unbearable and they would be doomed :kink:

I like both songs :) But I do think Popular sounds very Jedward :o

Nero finally top 40 then! :D This is really going to be the only new song worth monitoring this week, Wynter might sneak into the top 100 too, but I doubt very much she'll get top 40

Nobody's Prefect at No28

In The Air at No33

Time at No40

Run at No72. This is because of Britain's Got Talent isn't it?

Nero are just outside the top 20 combined I'd guess (a couple of places lower when you combine everything else, so maybe about 25-27 ish). Hopefully they'll be top 10 combined by the end of the day though it'd be nice if one of the versions made the actual top 10. The Original Mix seems to be climbing faster so that'll probably overtake the Radio Edit soon. With the EP in the top 3 they might actually be top 20 combined but obviously we have no way to see how much the EP has sold :P

Good to see the original back ahead :D

Yep, Run was used in the background and sang (kind of) on BGT. A guy sang Nursery rhymes to the tune of Run  And uk, you may want to look at this - there's good and bad news for you ;)

Why wouldn't she? She's already #119 and has had a fake version floating about for a while now ... I wouldn't be surprised if she even got close to the Top 10 tbh.

I meant this week. I think she'll get mid way between 100-40 (ish) then more people will know about her and she'll climb a bit in the coming weeks :)

I think DT could do a Yeah 3X. That wasn't even top 100 until Monday IIRC and still entered in the top 10. And that also didn't have much support at the time of its release.

I'm pretty sure wherever 'Dirty Talk' charts this week, won't be it's peak :)
Hopefully Dirty Talk can do a Yeah 3x but I don't see it this week. I think it will climb to a top 20/top 10 peak in the next two or three weeks despite low airplay. Or it might pick up airplay before then and chart even higher :D

'Dirty Talk' is a good song and deserves to be a hit. It was number one in Australia, and non-worldwide songs rarely get number one there (I mean songs that aren't popular in a lot of countires, Australian number ones are usually big American songs)

The big shame this week is that Alexandra Stan is flopping with 'Mr Saxobeat'. It could have easily been a Summer anthem here like Stereo Love but R1 decided to ignore it and playlist the boring Inna who has released the same song for a 4th time (Hot, Amazing, Deja Vu and Sun Is Up do sound really similar)

I'm hoping Chris & Benny will overtake LMFAO before its weekly sales get *too* low.

Me too, bored of LMFAO and it's certainly not one of those songs what deserve more then two weeks on top,

It shouldn't even beat JLO's two weeks at number 1 :(

I think Mr Saxobeat is on-air/on-sale so it might pick up some airplay and climb too. I prefer it to Inna's stuff too, hope it can do well! :)
