April 27, 201114 yr Yeah, hopefully Caro gets top 40 with SFTCRF this time! She limped in at 74 with the initial release!
April 29, 201114 yr Author A mini-update today with most notably a brand new single from Take That "Love Love", taken from the X-Men: First Class soundtrack. It will be released on Wednesday 11 May. Added new releases from new Sony pop group Six-D, The Computers, Benny Benassi... The Hit Parade have gone back to next week, Lil Wayne's album has gone back a few weeks and Caro Emerald is re-releasing her album. The Rihanna single appears to have changed to "Man Down", and Red Hot Chili Peppers are due to release a new album in August. Next update early next week.
April 29, 201114 yr Terrible choice. :puke: Good choice!!!!! :o It's on the radio all the time anyway, and has been top 300 on iTunes pretty much since the album release (maybe because of radio). And they already started promoting California King Bed in the US and Australia and it wasn't doing overly well.
April 29, 201114 yr Man down has been a favourite since the album's released by RiRi fans. I know people who are not fond of the Loud album but love that song. But suprised it has been changed to the next single.
April 29, 201114 yr It seems a bit weird, because she said she polled her Twitter followers for what she should release as the next single, and California King Bed won, and now they changed it... I think Man Down is the correct decision, for sure, but it seems a bit unfair at the same time.
April 29, 201114 yr Ugh. Shoving California King Bed aside for another uptempo (and one I'm not a huge fan of). Surely CKB would be a far more effective album seller as it shows a different side? First mis-step of the era imo.
April 29, 201114 yr I agree. Plus one fan said Man Down to her and she replied saying something like Man down wasn't the best song to jump to after S&M.
April 29, 201114 yr Author ManicKangaroo says Music Week have California King Bed listed so we'll have to wait and see what happens..
April 29, 201114 yr Rihanna needs to release California King Bed not Man Down. Also I swear that Benny Benassi song, Spaceship, was released last year.
April 29, 201114 yr YES!!!! Man Down is a much better choice than CKB. I was worrying that this would be the end of Loud but Rihanna's record company have made a great choice and Rihanna should at least get another top ten hIt with MD Edited April 29, 201114 yr by danielMFAO
April 29, 201114 yr Rihanna needs to release California King Bed not Man Down. Also I swear that Benny Benassi song, Spaceship, was released last year. It was but with his slight popularity increase on people now knowing he is thanks to the success of his Chris Brown collab, my guess is they are re-releasing it.
April 29, 201114 yr Man Down! I know it's another uptempo but it will do better than CKB. Though the latter will sell albums, it would probably peak top 15 at best. Loud has already been a huge seller, her biggest era to date! It'll be great for her add another top 10 on top of 2 huge number 1s and a great selling top 3 single.
April 29, 201114 yr I agree. Plus one fan said Man Down to her and she replied saying something like Man down wasn't the best song to jump to after S&M. I read in the news that she said that, except it said she was saying that about Skin, rather than Man Down.
April 29, 201114 yr I like them both, but love neither. I'd prefer 'Complicated' if she wanted to show a different side. But I don't think the choice matters too much, the album has already sold loads and the era has been fantastic whatever she goes with.
April 29, 201114 yr Also, Spaceship was indeed released last year. I remember it being played on the radio and it went top 100 on iTunes.
April 29, 201114 yr Man Down instead of CKB? I love both, but I was all getting ready for CKB to enter the charts. Still hope that whatever's released does well, but at the same time, I hope it's CKB that's released.
April 30, 201114 yr I don't see the Logic in re-releasing Caro. Is A Night Like This on it's way to being an actual hit for her? [Deservedly so, it's the best on the album and bloody brilliant] If not why bother? DSFTCRF is still physically available at HMV Dundee, it's a single copy left like, but it's been in stock here since it's first release. KT Tunstall is also puzzling me. I thought Tiger Suit was dead and buried quite some time ago, so why release a new track now?
April 30, 201114 yr Any release dates for the following; its being released in Europe in May. Natasha Bedingfield - Strip me away album & pocketful of sunshine single
