You haven't even heard the song... - that was for Eric.

chart wizard, it's not available on the album, I think it should get top-10 at least in iTunes!

It's the X-Men soundtrack.

Well, I don't like most Take That songs. If it's something like Shine or Kidz though, I hope it does well. But if it's another song like Patience or The Flood, it'll be dreadful and deserves to miss the top 100.

As I said though, if it's something like Kidz, that would be good. I thought that song was quite creative and non-generic by Take That's standards.

Note: This is all just my opinion though, of course.

JLO is holding up remarkably well :o! Pretty amazing considering the much more high profile Gaga plummeted.

'On The Floor' is better than 'Judas' and also has the video being played on the music channels. When the video for 'Judas' is finally released, that'll be the big test as to whether the video alone can boost sales of the track.

He also released an EP called It's Better If You Don't Understand a few weeks before JTWYA, which only got to #97.

All the 12 year-old girls hadn't really fell in love with him until Just the Way You Are though. :kink:

I'm sure if he released it now it'd do better.

I take it Graham Norton's over:

Someone Like You  10

Set Fire To The Rain at 56

also Elbow's One Day Like This is 52 :o was this used on the royal wedding coverage?

Edited by chart wizard

Someone Like You will probably get to #9 soon too.

And One Day Like This seems to always be in the top 100 tbh.

44. Set Fire to the Rain - ADELE :D

Royal sounding songs in the top 300:

38. Ubi Caritas - Choir of Westminster Abbey, The Choir of the Chapel Royal, James O'Donnell & Thomas Fetherstonhaugh

54. The Anthem: This Is the Day Which The Lord Hath Made - Choir of Westminster Abbey, The Choir of the Chapel Royal, James O'Donnell & Robert Quinney

79. Jerusalem - Barry Wordsworth, BBC Concert Orchestra & The Royal Choral Society

95. Jerusalem - The Royal Choral Society, BBC Concert Orchestra & Barry Wordsworth

98. Jerusalem - Choir of Westminster Abbey, The Choir of the Chapel Royal, The London Chamber Orchestra & James O'Donnell

Jesus Christ. I seriously hope none of these make the official top 100 as they'll be a nightmare to credit. :drama:

Ubi Caritas up to #33!!! :cheer: Good to have something different in the charts. :)

LOL. I wonder what genre it even classifies as.

EDIT: Is 'Gregorian chant' a genre? :kink:

Probably pop, I'd suspect. Although I think they classified Birdy as rock, so it's hard to predict.

Ubi Caritas now up to #31. MASSIVE HIT.

The Anthem... all the way up to #42 :o

First Barry Wordsworth version of Jerusalem is down to #82, but the second Barry version is up to #93 and the other version is up to #86.

The Procession Of The Bride... up to 102 :D

I sort of like all these royal choir-ish songs invading the chart actually.

Ubi Caritas at 31 :o :o :o I really hope this misses the top 40, churchy songs are NOT of my taste. It'll also mean Reggie Yates will talk lots about the Royal Wedding on the chart show and miss some good songs in the chart (it'll probably happen tomorrow anyway even though this has no chance of entering then). I watched the Royal Wedding :kink: but all the songs sound the same so I don't know what UC soundslike

Really hope 'Set Fire To The Rain' does give Adele another UK hit - top 10 would be incredible considering '21' has already sold over 2 million copies.

Does 'SFTTR' have a music video? The track is already starting to do well in Europe but I've not found anything on YouTube. I guess it's doing well in Europe on musical merit alone.

Yeah, I don't think we have to worry about it entering the top 40. Maybe top 100 though.

I haven't listened to any of them, but I suspect they sound like H.A.M without the swearing.

It's doing well in Europe since they've released it as a single in some countries, and it's getting airplay, I believe. It's actually got to #1 in some countries! :o Obviously, we now have to wait longer for it to get popular here because Someone Like You unexpectedly became a hit, as we all know.

A remix of Set Fire to the Rain ft. Gilbere Forte (who is best known for Alors on danse with Kanye West and Stromae) has been getting a lot of airplay in Europe, according to people I've talked to on youtube anyway.
