April 27, 201114 yr I would have preferred a cover similar to those of Volume's 1, 2, 4 and 5. :( Not that happy that Jonathan Groff is having vocals on 'Rolling in the Deep', but as long as it's not a solo it shouldn't be that bad. EDIT: According to HMV, the UK release will be on June 6th. Edited April 27, 201114 yr by Aidan
April 27, 201114 yr Take this with a pinch of salt - but the 'List of songs in Glee (Season 2)' has RITD down as a Jesse solo :nocheer: Can't wait to hear Dancing Queen :music: The only other song titles I recognise are Isn't She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) and iirc one of the big soul divas (Aretha or Etta I think) had a song called My Man... Maybe there'll be an original or two on this volume as well, for Nationals at least?
April 27, 201114 yr Author 'My Man' is Barbra, so will most likely be a Rachel solo. Hope they do a good job with the songs, I'm slightly underwhelmed as I know less than half of this tracklist.
April 27, 201114 yr Oh thanks - deffo Rachel then! I'm really struggling to recognise more than a few song titles... :( Hopefully I'll realise some of the songs when I hear them.
April 28, 201114 yr Same Jonjo! Imagine Santana singing it! Oh and there's at least one original song: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/s57/glee...lee-finale.html
April 28, 201114 yr I'd imagine the Nationals will get their own EP, will it not? (Like the regionals did last year) And isn't Savan Koetcha (sp?) the guy that wrote 'Start Without You'?! LOL. I LOVE that song personally, but it seems I'm alone so I hope he does a better track for Glee!
April 29, 201114 yr Author Doesn't the article state that he worked on 'Loser Like Me'? So he already has done a better song for Glee. But he did work on SWY, and I hate that song.
April 29, 201114 yr Yes. Haha. I read the article properly after I posted haha. I didn't realise he'd had a hand in writing 'Loser Like Me', until then! LOL.
April 29, 201114 yr I heard that Dancing Queen will be sung by Santana and Mercedes plus Rolling In The Deep is going to be sung by Jesse with Rachel. Both of these have epic written all over, esp. Dancing Queen (if they're true that is)
April 29, 201114 yr Is "Songbird" going to be an Oasis cover then? Cos I can see either Finn raping it or Puck owning it.
April 29, 201114 yr Is "Songbird" going to be an Oasis cover then? Cos I can see either Finn raping it or Puck owning it. Nope, it's a Santana cover of Fleetwood Mac's song (but Eva Cassidy is the most famous version tbh). :) It's leaked (as have Dreams, Don't Stop and Go Your Own Way - all the songs from episode 19 'Rumours' and is beautiful!
April 29, 201114 yr Rolling In The Deep is going to be sung by Jesse and Rachel and I've never heard of this Bella Notte song but apparently it's being sung by Kurt and Mercedes.
April 30, 201114 yr The Glee wiki page didn't have who was singing Bella Notte, but it did say it's from Lady & The Tramp.
May 3, 201114 yr Author The last three tracks on this album are meant to be original songs. ALAYT features Charice, LUTW is meant to be co-written by Max Martin and is a 'New Directions showcase'. Source Edited May 3, 201114 yr by Jaack Sykes
May 3, 201114 yr AHHHHHHHHH! I'm REALLY looking forward to those three original songs. Even if they're only as half as good as LLM, I'll be happy! :D I also get the feeling 'Pretending' could be a Quinn song. I honestly don't know/understand why I get that feeling. I just DO LOL.
