Excited for its return. If anyone here is a spoiler whore (like me), they will have heard of what sounds like one of the most promising storylines in the shows history is about to kick-off!

Bring on Wednesday! :D

A bit quick since series six finished, eh? :o Not that I'm complaining - as awful as it is most of the time, I do enjoy watching it and have since series one (although only religiously from two onwards.)

Massive, amazing spoiler found

I love this but it really is the Only Way is Essex of "dramas". The FOODFIGHT moment of television aplomb.
I do wish this show hadn't gone to shit so majorly in series 5. It used to be AMAZING.

I've never seen this show before but everyone i know raves about it

Is it safe to start watching despite being six series behind?

Yep but i'd check the earlier series out if I were you, much better.

It's definitely starting to lose it a bit now I think.

I only watched the last series upon the recommendation of my best friend (well, he good as forced me ) and it has become one of my fave TV shows - if it's 'gone to the $h!t' then the early episodes must've been f***ing amazing! That SL looks interesting as well!
No comments on this then? I found this quite good if I'm being honest! I know I say it literally every series, but the storylines were a step-up from previous series, and the acting (especially from Sambuca at the end) was better. The new characters seem nice enough - the caretaker and his son, and the girl whose baby it was - I'll need to see more from the maths teacher though before judging him; to say they have a relatively well-known actor there, he didn't do much!
I'm in LOVE with the maths teacher. Need to wait for most of the new characters to develop before judge them, but I also love the fact that they're pushing that fact that the new hated teacher is a CONSERVATIVE so much, literally half the episode was spent stressing that point. I love unbiased BBC
I thought it was very good myself, some of these new characters sound genuinely interesting (thank God Cesca & jonah are gone), the only problem was that last series seemed to have been forgotten- Finn can walk fine
That was the first thing that bugged me, seeing Finn all fine and dandy after what happened  No way that is REALISTIC! And how big is the gap between the last series and this one. Which term are we in, oh the confusion! The twins WERE annoying though
I was annoyed at how Tom acted like a twat to the new teacher. Sam was being rude in that lesson and I wouldn't stand for it in my classroom. And saying 'you just need to know how to handle her' is completely different to actually telling her the best way to handle her. Anyway he was proved wrong at the end of the episode when there really was a problem with Sam. Apart from that I largely enjoyed it.

Introducing the newbie as Tory of the Year - or whatever it was - wasn't exactly the smartest move. Bound to alienate most teachers immediately.

Tbf Sambuca was only like that because of her headache (given what she's going through). Though she is a bit misbehaved usually. I do agree Tom was being a total twat - though it's probs a case of teachers' favourites. If it was anyone else messing Ms Chaudry about he wouldn't of cared. Loving Ms Chaudry so far (I remember her as Minnie in Corrie ) but I'm not feeling Mr Chalk yet. Looking forward to seeing the rest of Sambuca's storyline!

The Sambucca storyline is really good. It's obviously going to end in her death which will be quite shocking viewing.

I love Tom () but he was a bit of a knob in this episode. But he may redeem himself yet. I love the new teachers especially Mrs Chauldry, and Robson Greene was quite good (But I can't see him staying for long). The baby storyline was good and I liked Kyle Stack. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of mention of Finn's accident (He should have been in a wheelchair, am I right?) and how after Kyle and Finn made up at the end of Series 6, they were back to hating each other.

Yeah I get the headaches were why she was acting stranger and Ms Chaudry realised something was up later but her initial behaviour did warrant punishment and Tom, who I usually like too, acted is such an unteacher-like way. Anyway I don't take it too seriously as I know what its like in real life now.

I'm in love with the person who chooses the music for this show, always SO good and not your normal run-of-the-mill tv stuff.
