Has this got a release date in the UK yet?

The album is out on Monday, but the single seems to be out July 3 :wacko: I don't see why SF can't be a week before the album, a few weeks after is ridic...

There's a delay in the german charts, it should climb next week.

'Enemy' is AMAZING. :heart:

8 tracks in and they've already made disastrous singles/buzz single choices :mellow:

 

(The other 6 tracks are a thousand times better than the lead single and 'Pyromania'!)

Only listening to Enemy now, and the rest tommorow. Enemy is AMAZING :wub:

'Hungover' is the better ballad. But yes, 'Enemy' is good too. In fact the whole album is! The weakest songs are actually 'San Francisco', 'Original Me' and 'Sinner on the Dancefloor'! My rankings after first listen:

Another good album from them. I don't know why I doubted them tbh. But their sound nowadays don't seem to have the long lasting effect anymore. They get rather tiring quite quickly, but at the moment I'm LIKING it! :wub:

This album is sooo bad. Some songs sound like a complete mess and change pace halfway through. The ONLY moment of sheer brilliance is the part right after Stalkers chorus. It goes into some kind of hardcore track for a moment. Unfortunately, this last for like 10 seconds (''I follow you through the night'' etc., that part).

I liked the idea of Calprit back on the tracks, but the only parts Natalie sings on Unspoken and Independence Day is the chorus! It's Calprit vs. Cascada. The beat in those two songs sounds exactly the same btw.

Sinner on the Dancefloor sounds exactly like Evacuate, although it's much worse and sounds like a mess. This track is obviously very experimental but it does not work.

Some parts of the songs are awfully autotuned, not because of the autotune but because of the moments they choose to use it.

The second(/fourth) single Au Revoir is very boring. Chorus kicks in in like 30 seconds, and then after that we have a boring moment of ''Au au au revoir''.

Enemy is the only song which was actually a confortable listen, and I never would've guessed that from the clip. Although I know I'll get bored of it very soon.

 

This album misses the brilliance of songs like Why You Had to Leave and Dangerous.

Best songs : Enemy, Night Nurse.

 

I would give this album 1.5 or 2 stars out of 5.

I was quite upset seeing you slate the album so much, but then I saw that bit :heehee: They're two of my least favourite Cascada songs :(

And I didn't mean to upset you. I once was a big Cascada fan. But I don't like what they've turned into. I hope the next album is going to be better again. I always still support them because I still believe they're one of the better dance-artists around. I hope San Francisco is goin' to be a big hit for them.

Lol. You didn't genuinely upset me :lol: I didn't take it personally so you don't need to apologise :P, it's your opinion. I agree tough that they are gradually getting worse with each album, (I'd say it goes EWT>PD>ETD>OM) and it does kind of sadden me to see what's becoming of them and just trying to recycle beats which are popular at the time. But I also want SF to be a hit as I'll probably always have a soft spot for 'em and want them to be successful.

I think the album is GREAT. Not as great as 'Evacuate The Dancefloor' IMO but its still GREAT. :heart:

 

'Enemy' is definitely my FAVOURITE, ever since hearing the snippet. I just wish they'd also release the upbeat & the ballad version of it :(

It's like they've stuck a greatest hits on the end of the album.

They're doing what Scooter did back in 2008. You know, the thing that got them to number 1 over a 2nd week (i.e. relatively NEW) Madonna album.

Nothing against rap but cascada are going all urban on certain tracks. What is that about?

 

The lead singer Natalie is a good vocalist and yet they have auto tuned her to death.

Makes no sense... but if the song is out, i'm going to download it because it's really good

Seriously addicted to this album. It's good! Nice to see more than just one ballad too! :wub: I can't get over how they've used some of the worst songs from the album as the "buzz" singles and stuff.

I'm still addicted to 'Night Nurse'. I really hated it at first. Every single leaked version of it sounded absolutely terrible, but to my surprise the video version was really good! I'm glad that's the album version too, because I love it :wub:

Best song on the album imo.

I must say, 'Night Nurse' is massively growing on me too! Particularly LOUD. :wub:
