May 29, 201114 yr I wonder if Cheryl will return to the UK X-Factor, seems like a majority of people wouldn't want her to. Me personally, I'd rather have some new faces on the judging panel (hopefully Kelly Rowland ) I think Nicole will do fine being the new X-Factor judge (if the sacking is true) since she's known in America ^_^ This made me  (Cheryl after finding out Nicole is her replacement ) http://i880.photobucket.com/albums/ac6/WillR0713/lololol.gif

May 29, 201114 yr I hope there's no truth in these tabloid stories about her throwing a massive strop over her axing, and demanding double the money to return to the UK X Factor, because she really is going down further in my estimation. SO many people are losing their jobs at the moment, and most of them don't immediately get offered a new job that pays >£1m, so I think I'll spare my sympathy.
May 29, 201114 yr I hate the Dutch press. They are so obviously ignorant and Cheryl horny. This is what they wrote today (I translated it) : Despite the fact that Cheryl was fired at X-Factor US this week and replaced by Nicole Scherzinger, the singer will get all of the promised money. The singer was going to be paid 1.2 million pound for judging on X-Factor and will still receive the whole amount. Simon Cowell is upset about the departure of Cheryl. According to a friend of his ''he fought for her. It took him months to get her and he feels absolutely terrible. But eventually the TV network decides. They just didn't have a good feeling about it.'' Now that she's fired in America, the Brits are BEGGING (it wasn't really in capital letters but I had to do it because it's ridiculous) Cheryl to return to their X-Factor. ''The public loves her'' tells Louis Walsh. ''She's brilliant, and she's funny. I want her back. Please come back Cheryl!'' Sorry for the poor translation skill but errr, can you say ignorance? The Dutch press obviously loves her. For no reason, actually, not one that I can think of, because she's only had one hit here and then disappeared. (BTW LOVED the Saw scene).
May 30, 201114 yr I don't really know what I want for her next... I'd somehow like to see her back on X Factor UK, because after all ITV is not to blame for her US axing, but I do understand it would feel weird. I'd love her to switch to BBC with "The Voice", but I'm not sure it could happen. She would be great for the job, but BBC probably don't want ex-ITV stars on their show. But who knows... Along with Duffy, Beth Ditto and Will Young, that would be GOOD! Ultimately, the biggest deal for me is to get new music from her, and looking at it from a positive point of view, the US axing is probably a good thing for Girls Aloud reunion next year!
May 30, 201114 yr On DS, it says that Tulisa has already been confirmed as a judge, and Kelly is 'expected' to be announced before the auditions begin on Wednesday. Tbh, if she's not on The Voice then her TV career is DEAD. Without the big push from XF, her music career won't be too glistening either... And to think she could've had BGT (she was actually asked before Amanda Holden in 2006)! I think the only time she'll be big again is when/if GA reform, which won't be until at least 2012 (10th anniversary) - and even then it might just be a one-off single for a Greatest Hits a la Spice Girls, probably a tour as well. She could go low profile for a while yes, OR she could as well focus more on the music. 'Fight for this love' was a good indication of what she could achieve in Europe. With minor promotion it was top 10 in like every country. Cheryl "the UK TV superstar" may be dead, but hopefully it will benefit to Cheryl "the popstar". She will have far more time to establish herself throughout Europe, if that's what she wants. :)
May 30, 201114 yr I think it's quite clear that Cheryl has precisely zero interest in establishing herself as a solo popstar. She might've been pushed in that direction but promotion has always been minimal (according to several press reports she barely promoted The Flood because she wanted 'a break' after promoting The Promise - !!!) and this album didn't even make it as far as a third single. I'm sure she's as good as said herself that she has no great ambitions as a solo popstar. Better for everyone if she openly states her intentions to return to Girls Aloud, and then it looks as though they're waiting on Nicola rather than Cheryl.
May 30, 201114 yr Better for everyone if she openly states her intentions to return to Girls Aloud, and then it looks as though they're waiting on Nicola rather than Cheryl. Ultimately I think it will be more a case of waiting on Nadine. She might not be successful, but with her full-time life in LA (and this includes her family, her boyfriend and... her pub), I don't see her willing to go back to the UK anytime soon, especially since she doesn't seem to have been in touch with the other girls since mid 2009. But that's an other discussion we should have in the Girls Aloud forum maybe
May 30, 201114 yr Tulisa has been confirmed Is that seriously the best they could do ? Bringing in someone who would constantly talk to the press about how "X Factor is ruining the business" "It's not fair that X Factor acts do well.. We worked for years and they just queue up and become stars" "We would have been number 1 if it wasn't for Cheryl, JLS, Leona and The Black Eyed Peas" Hypocrite

I only just remembered that!?!? :o :o Yeah, I remember on the Xtra Factor and on T4 interviews they kept going on about how they would've gotten to #1 if it wasn't for the X Factor. Which I don't think is true anyway. They might've been able to get a #2, but I think Meet Me Halfway would've still go the #1 (although obviously not with such high sales). And now she's a judge on it! Oh, the irony! I still think she'll be really good though. I like her, and I think it'll be good to have someone more urban as a judge. Last year I was fed up of Dannii constantly telling Cher "less rapping please". :drama:
May 30, 201114 yr http://xfactor.itv.com/2010/news/article/r...item_101021.htm Shall be interesting to see what happens with the ratings during auditions...

Gary Barlow, Tulisa, Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh are confirmed judges. Interesting. Tulisa and K Ro should be entertaining, Louis is a mong and Gary is going to bore the nation to death.
May 30, 201114 yr Author Ok, so, can we please keep this topic on the subject of Cheryl's axing at the hand of Fox execs and why they belong in the depths of hell. Any discussion of X Factor UK should be in the other thread. Tusen Takk!
May 30, 201114 yr She should now take a nice break, disown Cowell, get herself on the next series of Dancing With the Stars (partnered with Derek), win it and continue on the path to world domination.
June 1, 201114 yr Yes saw that, it is quite funny :) I wonder when we get an official statement from Fox/Syco regarding her axing. I wonder if they'll go for the accent thing, the weight problem or the low profile. Should be embarassing for them. But now I wouldn't even be surprised if they did no statement at all and just act like if Cheryl had never been there, which would be even more insulting.
June 1, 201114 yr celebs.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474979388115 I wouldn't be surprised if they ignored the whole thing. I mean, with all the rumors of how they treated her when she WAS going to be on the show, why wouldn't they? It's pretty disgusting how Hollywood can be. Cheryl is better off IMO. She's way better than that.
