May 13, 201115 yr EW @ Aloe Blacc now being top 10 over GaGa and Yasmin. From 8 on Monday to 12 on Thursday, poor Yasmin :( I hope she holds onto #12 then and Aloe Blacc's other versions on iTunes get deleted or something and Yasmin sneaks top 10 on Sunday by some miracle. . why ??its by far the best song in the chart and deserves to be top 10 over a gaga track that sounds like everything she did on her first album, but its lady gaga so it doesnt matter what the songs is like !! but judas and take that have a good chance of being top 10 by sunday, i need a dollar will be at 12.wonder if its sales will increase for a 5th week in a row though?!
May 13, 201115 yr I hope I Need a Dollar gets top 10 again. I wouldn't mind Take That though. I haven't heard it yet, but apparently it's like Kidz, so I might like it.
May 13, 201115 yr wonder if therell be a video soon for it....we should have a video release thread on these forums, would be a great help...itake it rihannas new one has a video now its nearly top 40!!

It already is in the top 40 on iTunes. Its video was released earlier this week, I think. It's also increasing in radio airplay. It's much more radio-friendly than her other singles from Loud. Although S&M spent like 2 months in the top 40 on iTunes before getting a video. Edited May 13, 201115 yr by Eric_Blob
May 13, 201115 yr Take That filmed the video for Love Love on Wednesday, hope they'll release it soon and also get some airplay next week.
May 13, 201115 yr Author For those that haven't heard Take That yet, live version of Love Love zl3TKJoCHpM
May 13, 201115 yr Wow. The new Take That song is really good on first listen!! :D I'm always really nervous when they release a song, because they've released some of the worst songs I've ever heard (e.g. Patience, The Flood), and their bad songs get played on the radio all the time, which drives me insane. This song is great though!! :D I hope it does well. Edited May 13, 201115 yr by Eric_Blob
May 13, 201115 yr Author Out of all weeks when the chart gets quite a few new entries, we are only going to get top 10 played in full on Sunday most likely due to Radio 1's Big Weekend. I would rather he played all the new entries and a quick rundown of the whole 40, instead of playing the top 10.

Last year I remember he played the whole top 10 and randomly Guns and Horses by Ellie Goulding, which was #20-something. So we might get one extra song.

Love, Love is OK (if a little dated sounding) but your comparison is just a tiny bit pants Eric. Kath
May 13, 201115 yr It could've been a really exciting week chart-wise, such a shame the disgustingly dull Bruno Mars had to stop that.
May 13, 201115 yr Love, Love 'really good' ... Patience 'bad' The mind does boggle, boggle. Love, Love is OK (if a little dated sounding) but your comparison is just a tiny bit pants Eric. Kath Well, I've only listened to Love Love once, but I've listened to Patience, literally, hundreds of times, and I can categorically say that I hate it. Genuinely one of the worst songs I think I've ever heard (although I admit my opinion is probably skewed because I've heard it hundreds of times. Most songs I hate, I never have to listen to them again). It's one of those songs that when I listen to it, it just goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and all I do when I have to listen to it is think "Will this EVER end?". Love Love is much more enjoyable for me. As I said, I've only listened to it once, but I can see myself listening to it out of choice, based on first impressions. It's okay if the songs are old-fasioned, provided the song actually sounds good, and said artist is not credited with revolutionizing mainstream music or whatever. It could've been a really exciting week chart-wise, such a shame the disgustingly dull Bruno Mars had to stop that. Yeah. The Lazy Song is just so boring and forgettable. It'll be this year's Dirtee Disco, probably. :( Although, looking on the positive side of things, it's better than LMFAO for a 5th week (Party Rock Anthem is a better song, i.e. it's actually interesting, but 4 weeks was just TOO long), and it's also better than Grenade imo. May 13, 201115 yr ugh, Take That is going to do exactly what Muse did this time last year isn't it :( Yeah. The Lazy Song is just so boring and forgettable. It'll be this year's Dirtee Disco, probably. :( remember its shown some great consistency so far, forgettable number 1s tend to be ones that shoot up there, and then plummet and out of the top 40 within a few weeks
May 13, 201115 yr Just  at some of the stuff said about 'The Lazy Song'. Fair enough if you think it's boring, but it's not going to be a low seller, and it's not going to be something which is soon out of the public's consience. It will be in the top 40 for at least as long as 'Grenade'.
May 13, 201115 yr Unfortunately it will sell well because it's SO inoffensive and somewhat catchy that radio will eat it up and so will the moronic British public.
May 13, 201115 yr Okay, I am letting my opinion of the song get in the way of common sense again. But yeah, it just seems weird that a song like that it getting to #1. All his other #1s were massive tunes. Even Billionaire was a lot bigger than The Lazy Song seems. With Billionaire, even like 2 months before it was released everybody seemed to be going crazy for the song. I'm still very shocked it didn't get to #1 tbh.

This. :drama: ugh, Take That is going to do exactly what Muse did this time last year isn't it :( And Muse was oddly also on Big Weekend week... plus there was that $h!te Leeds song that kept it out of the top 10 ( ) and this week we've got 2 football-influenced songs in the mids. Paul Hardcastle will probably drop out by Sunday though. Shame as it's actually a really good song. Edited May 13, 201115 yr by Bray
