Doubting GaGa will do it now, TEOG is holding a narrow lead over Bruno on iTunes so should be #3/4 on tomorrow's update but she'll need a big Graham Norton.

Good to see The Lonely Island not dropping much :D

I think Bruno has #1 in the bag now unless Guetta releases his video at the last second. It'll be more interesting to see what order GaGa/Guetta/TT/LMFAO/Pitbull/Chris come in. I think they'll probably be the 2-7 (TT may be lower than #7 though, given they're somehow already falling on iTunes)

Looks like Judas won't be returning to the top 10 :( Really perplexed at how poorly it's done even with the video out

I am predicting:

1. Bruno Mars

2. David Guetta

3. Lady Gaga

4. LMFAO

5. Pitbull

6. Chris Brown

7. Take That

pity is, if GaGas songs were pretty good, or at least better than her last 3 songs, at least two of them woud have been SHOE IN #1s lol- giving her a total of 6 right now. she still has the star power and momentum just from her name alone to get big front loaded sales out of the gate, but theres a reason shes not able to close the deal at the last minute- the MUSIC just aint that good.

That's entirely subjective.

And of course Born This Way, undeniably sub-par compared to previous singles, was released on a Friday. Had it been released on the same day as everyone else it would've certainly been a sure-fire #1. She'd still be able to get #1s on name and star power alone if she handled her releases properly imo...

Correct, BTW was miles ahead of everything and surrendered its lead about five days after release.

:puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: etc.

nooooooooooooo :o I come back home to find out that BRUNO MARS is leading the midweeks with what could possibly be the WORST number one since... yes, that's right. 'Grenade' which also happens to be by Bruno. :drama: I will be buying Lady GaGa this week to help a good cause. Stop Bruno from being number one!!!! This weeks chart battle is a great one yet has to be ruined by boring lazy tripe (it is called 'The Lazy Song' for a reason)

The Lazy Song would probably be the most forgettable #1 on the year if it gets there (yes, moreso than We R Who We R)! :o

It's better than Grenade though, so at least that's something.

Also, couldn't Lady Gaga cilmb to #1 like other artists have to do? I mean, just saying.

I'd go for the Lazy Song this time round. Still haven't heard Gaga, so I can't comment on its quality, and I won't until Sunday, I suspect. Also, I like Bruno generally.

I think the problem with Lady Gaga at the moment is that she is flooding the market and not giving each release a chance. The Judas video premiered just last Thursday, then her NEW single is released on the Monday?? Why all this haste in getting stuff out, people are getting confused and probably a bit bored of her. I still think she's an incredible talent, but just as Judas gets stuck in my head, along comes Edge of Glory.

Slow down woman!!!!

EoG was only released as promo single, it wasn't intended to be the hit it is becoming and i don't think anyone really predicted it's success. It's not an official single... yet.

The Edge of Glory was initially a promo single. For most artists, their promo singles don't really dent the chart to this extent, and hence, doesn't affect their release schedules.
So happy "The lazy song" may get to number 1. Even though I seem to be the only one lol

The Lazy Song is the biggest pile of dross I have heard in a long long time.

Hopefully he falls, and gaga climbs.

What is so bad about The Lazy Song? It's ok. I don't see why it is especially bad. It should not be number 1 I agree, but I am relieved TBH. PRA is the only number 1 this year I dislike. Although I would prefer Ga Ga. This is going to be the 2nd of this era which would have got to number 1 if given a full week.

dont understand how Love Love is falling. then again it has recieved no airplay yet and has no video.

I doubt it, it never really got that far ahead on iTunes so Bruno would almost certainly have overtaken anyway.

That's probably why it's falling!
