I expected it to do a LOT better with the Eurovision hype and promotion. Why shouldn't I be shocked that it's #1 across Europe yet looking set to miss the top 40 in the country that they first became popular!

..but you must know they are taken as a bit of a joke over here so most people arent going to be buying their music, I think people find them funny, and a lot of people like them (probably more hate them) but majority of people arent going to be buying their music.

They all bought Under Pressure  I know the joke was thought to be over but Eurovision seems to have reignited it a bit. They certainly look to be huge across Western Europe now (I don't think Eastern Europe really 'got them').

 Yeah I think some people got a little carried away with it being their first single and all, but they'll never expereince that again i'm sure. To be fair to them they have done really well, gone from a joke-act on X Factor to representing their country in Eurovision, and have made themselves little celebs

 I wonder if it can make the top 40, when he's done this before they've both gone top 20

Jedward have dominated the Swedish music charts since their performance at the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday.

The X Factor duo have climbed to the top of numerous iTunes charts all over Europe this week, but their main success has been in Sweden where their track 'Lipstick' has managed to shift over 120,000 copies.

The feat makes the song the fastest-selling single in Sweden so far this year.

Not sure how anyone could be shocked by Jedward not making top 40 but hey. each to their own..

I'm Into You  #20 - J-Lo :)

Shake your fine booty to #1 Gurlfriend :cheer:

Scheiße really needs to be a single lol^

It has to do well in at least Germany...

I'd be surprised if it was released as a single seen as the word Scheiße is probably considered a swear word, even if it's only a German swear word...

So Born This Way the album is kind of a big deal. Coming from a Gaga loon (so probably biased) its the greatest album i've heard in a long time.

I can see sooooooooo many singles coming off it, most notably on first listen the EPIC Scheiße!!!!!

Wow

This post is perfect. Scheiße is her best song ever. It is the song that destroys discographies.

Eek, not really.

Any song released as a single after TEOG will not do well, compared to her other songs.

That means it will cause more controversy surrounding it? :D

um, remember a little song called 'f*** you'?

AS IF she has a song called Scheiße

I wonder if all 10 new album tracks from BTW will go iTunes top 100? I wouldn't rule it out.

How many tracks went top 100 from 'The Fame' the first week of the album? Didn't she have like 5 or 6?

I'm not sure about the original TF (there was definitely at least one, PF :P) but with TFM all 7 new album tracks went top 100 on iTunes in the first week, 5 went official top 100 first week then Speechless went top 100 officially a few weeks later after she performed it somewhere. Poor 'Teeth'.

I would guess the max there could have been iTunes top 100 on the first week of TF would be 4. Only PF entered the official top 100 in week 1 but Paparazzi entered a week later, B,D,R another 3 weeks after that and LG a further 6 weeks after that.

She's already got 4 in the chart anything over 4 it be Gaga overload :(

Looks like Hair is about to drop back down to #4. Should still go top 10 officially fairly easy though.

Is 'SHM #10' in the subtitle an error? They're still #11 for me. Gave me false hope when I saw that :(

WOW a moment ago Jermaine Stewart was no.34, his now no.31, I hope he keeps climbing!! :-)
