I also find the studio version of it really hard to listen to, the notes being all over the place. It's a brilliant song but I wish it was more like that performance. :(

this is...to me...im really sorry...i dont understand why it doesnt sound like anymore Beyonce...

and the song fundamentally killed the video...very distracting...

especially the hook line...should be "who run this mother fxxking world..." it keeps on muting the word...the line loses the effect to me...keeps cutting me from following it...

anyway it's just my opinion on the song...not beyonce...i still love her :D

hopefully her next single will be a much better single like irreplaceable :D

Well, if she wants it to be played before 9pm on any music channel, she doesn't exactly have much choice... :rolleyes:

 

If artists want to put naughty words in their songs, that's fine - but they *know* that'll affect the amount of radio/TV airplay they get.

I actually prefer the way it is. And if she did put the swear word in, then a lot of places might've censored the "mother" bit too, like in Do It Like a Dude (although DILAD was a bit worse, since she rhymes it with "sucker" from the previous line, so the swear word can easily roll off your tongue accidentally if you're casually singing along).

Beyonce looks so hot in the video, as expected, its beyonce. Also I think you do not get a better dancer in the music industry then Beyonce right now. However still doesnt do anything for me, the song is still so bad, and the video is quite good but not her best. I'm really looking forwaard to second single hoping its going to be a big hit and that i'll appeal more to me. :)

Run The World already back up to #50. I don't know how far it fell as I haven't been tracking it the last week but about a week ago it was falling rapidly at #54, so I wouldn't be suprised if it fell towards the bottom half of the top 100? Anyone know? Anyway, I am guessing that it is a big jump anyway.
