January 19, 201213 yr Oooh, Liam, where to start?! Necessary Roughness (funny dramz), Fairly Legal (funny dramz), Homeland (dramz), Enlightened (dramz), Revenge (dramz+trash-tv), Terra Nova (dramz+sci-fi) - all aired their first season and were renewed (except for Revenge and Terra Nova). Fairly Legal s02 starts in two months. New amazing comedies such as Up All Night, Surburgatory, 2 Broke Girls and New Girl with amazing criminal drama Unforgettable are still airing. The Lying Game is alright, very One Tree Hill/90210-ish. A Gifted Man is beautiful, loved the first few episodes. Don't bother checking Ringer, Whitney or Charlie's Angels as they're absolutely atrocious. I'd rather get recommending some of the older TV shows though. Parks and Recreation, Leverage, Bones, American Dad, South Park, 30 Rock, Chuck, Psych, Fringe, In Plain Sight, The Big C, Covert Affairs, The Walking Dead, The Good Wife, Dexter (!!! at that one). Family Guy's latest season is crap. These are only the shows that didn't end or weren't cancelled (yet). The full list is much much bigger. US TV is incredible. ---- Also, Man Up! and Work It were CANCELLED. That is VERY GOOD NEWS. <3 You watch A LOT.
January 19, 201213 yr Revenge and Suburgatory both look pretty good from what I'm seeing, I shall give those a go over the next day or two! Thanks again guys!
January 19, 201213 yr You watch A LOT. I have a hard time abandoning a TV show after I start watching it. :drama: Plus, I like having a wider choice of stuff to watch. Did I mention that not having a life helps a lot as well?

The Killing is also fairly good, will probablu be even better if you start watching now as you won't have a as long a time to feel frustrated with what happens at the end of the first season.
January 20, 201213 yr I echo Pavel's "!!!" for 'Dexter'! Such an amazing and unique concept for a show. A show where you actually ROUTE and often feel sorry for the Serial Killer? Amazing. It doesn't hold back on stuff, either. It's got the adult tone perfect, for a show of it's calibre. Some tense and sleepless nights for me lately, trying to catch up and stuff!
January 20, 201213 yr Dexter has been rubbish for two years now though. The first few seasons were incredible, although any show would peak with an episode like the season four finale.
January 20, 201213 yr Have you even seen the very last scene of season 6? Rita's murder seems not so significant now :o Edited January 20, 201213 yr by Ljósið
January 20, 201213 yr Well, I'm currently only on Season 4 at the moment. (Episode 6 is next for me) so I don't know about it getting worse or anything just yet. But so far it's going to be hard to follow Season 4 as it's been tremendous so far. So brilliantly acted, executed and keeping me literally on the edge of my seat. It sucks that I have work to get ready for now as I could have easily finished up 4 tonight and start 5 tomorrow. :( But ah well. That's life. I've heard (elsewhere online and here) that Season 6 is actually pretty great and is being classed as the second best season, by some. So far though I'd say 4 > 2 > 1 > 3 (3 wasn't even terrible - it just started off slow) John Lithgow is BRILLIANT as a psychopathic killer! He's really good at playing mentally ill people. (His role in 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' was amazing, also).
January 20, 201213 yr You missed GAME OF THRONES!!!!! Best new drama for a while. http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lumq255w9R1r0i4mno1_500.png :o
January 22, 201213 yr Just seen the second episode of 'Alcatraz' and I'd say it was better than the first. Thought the twist at the end was really good and the mystery element will probably be good enough to keep sticking with it (plus the procedural element is fine so far). Better than the first few episodes of 'Person of Interest' were for sure and a lot better than the first two hours of 'Terra Nova' too.
January 22, 201213 yr Speaking of Person Of Interest after a slowish start it's really picking up pace now. They've started to fill in backstory which is probably helping and the relationship between Finch and Reese is growing nicely.
January 26, 201213 yr 'Touch' was really really good, the pace seemed a bit slow at first but by the end it was quite tense and I love how all the stories linked together. Should be good for a while but I don't know how it'll keep interest in the long-term, 'Heroes' was great for the first season before then going downhill.
January 26, 201213 yr With Touch did they just air that ONE episode? Cos it says the global premier is 19th March. So I'm wondering whether this means Canada etc. and it will still be on weekly on FOX. Seems a strange marketing move if not.
January 26, 201213 yr It's a preview premiere, they do it a lot on HBO and stuff. Just to build hype really.
January 26, 201213 yr They did it with 'Glee' the spring before it's fall premiere and that seemed to work out OK for them. A 3.9 and good reviews from most places that I've seen. I think it'll turn out to be a good move for them. I'm already really looking forward to it's weekly run now but I'm really loving Alcatraz right now too.
January 26, 201213 yr Author Fox don't have room on the schedule for it right now. It will air after House when it returns mid-march.
January 28, 201213 yr What does everyone think NBC are going to do? They're still getting killed in the ratings. I'm sure The Voice and Smash are going to be their only hits this year.
January 28, 201213 yr Chuck's last ever episodes were aired yesterday  RIP. It was a miracle that they even renewed it for the 3rd season. All because of the fans targetting a sponsor instead of the network. Now it's logical to end the show though. Still, 5 seasons for an non-comedy NBC show is impressive. Edited January 28, 201213 yr by Ljósið
January 28, 201213 yr After The X Factor & American Idol I'm not even convinced by how well The Voice will do on NBC but I guess with the superbowl lead-in that it's at least going to start high. I don't know what NBC can do, they've got to renew at least some of their low rated shows and then hope for a good season with new series but the pilots so far don't sound great. Don't know what's happening with 'Awake', that could be a 'hit' for them but maybe it's best to save it for September now?
