'Judas' at #8.

Spice by the Spice Girls in 1996/97. I doubt there has been one since then, other than 21.

Spice was #1 for 15 weeks.

I *think* its now the longest running #1 album since Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water in the 60s :o

Reggie's right in that similarity  I wonder if this will eventually get to number 1, its dropped off quite a bit

Damn, non-mover for Edge of Glory.

Pleased this DG wasnt UK number 1. Kinda really similar to Sexy Chick. :(

I wanted it to be #1 at the time, because Party Rock Anthem was still at #1 for the millionth week, so I was getting a bit desperate (and I love Nicki ).

But yes, part of me hopes it just free-falls now so it teaches him to come up with other ideas for songs.

lol @ Sexy Chick playing in the background there.

Lady GaGa is a dance-pop singer from New York City. Born Stefani Germanotta in Yonkers in 1986, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU while performing at open-mic nights. A collaboration with rapper/producer Akon led to her signing with Interscope Records, which released her debut album THE FAME in October 2008. She scored a number one hit and a Grammy nomination with "Just Dance," which topped the charts in several other countries, but The Fame truly exploded in 2009 thanks to the single "Poker Face." By 2010, Gaga was one of the biggest stars in the world, aided by her new EP The Fame Monster and its single "Bad Romance." - HMV

The Edge of Glory

ARGH, this should really be top 5 :( Maybe it can climb with the album release :)

re: Adele

Nobody has stopped at 16 weeks, The Carpenters' The Singles 69-73 notched 17 as did Abbey Road.

I thought Spice had 15 weeks?

Oh yeah sorry.

I don't know the answer then.

darn, this just misses the top 5 again :drama: although it could get a new peak next week with the album

The Edge of Glory. Really deserves top 5.

Maybe it'll get there next week.

I don't think the album will get it that high (probably just stop it from falling out the top 10).

But it's being released as a proper single, so it'll get a music video, so it might climb top 5 then.

I had a look on chartstats and found Simon & Garfunkel with 33 weeks.
