What's the format going to be in this years X Factor?

 

Will there be 12 or 16 finalists?

 

I suppose its when / what Simon decides who he wants his finalist to be. If he thinks he has a surplus - I'm sure he'll spring a surprise or two to ensure he gets his entire selection.

I think it's 16 but as Kathy has said - subject to change due to Simon :lol:

 

I imagine it'll either be the same format as last year but without the double vote-offs (as the live shows start earlier) or there'll just be 16 straight through and then someone 'MASSIVE SHOCK TWIST' (ie wildcards) to bump it up to 20 or something.

My problem with 16 finalists was that the first live show last year was simply TOO LONG and it was easy to forget the more mediocre acts. And it also means that utter garbage will easily make it through.

As long as Misha is one of the finalist I am not fussed, she really has potential.

WOW, I thought he was REALLY good - really loved his tone.

The first girl that auditioned had me in stitches :lol: she flashed out...

 

The lad at the end of part 1 was pretty good, his voice was pitch perfect.

Oirish Mammy was really not all that good at all.

That Kate Bush woman had me CRYING :rofl: And the maths teacher was HOT. My Maths teacher is hot too though so I can't complain. I agree with Jark that 'Oirish Mammy' wasn't all that. She was just Mary mark II with a sob story. A crap one.

The two girls from Essex talk about Tango, they were more like wailing than singing.

 

Some of the female solos they just shown were not really that good.

 

I wish they show more groups auditioning, I haven't seen any potential groups yet, apart from The Keys.

The groups will be as crap as ever. The two Essex girls were quite a surprise though.

It's literally ALL about the girls this year. There are some good boys but no-one phenomenal. There are some AMAZING girls with real potential though, I deffo think we have a female winner. I read a spoiler about one of the boys who didn't get to the lives btw, it's

The groups will be as crap as ever. The two Essex girls were quite a surprise though.

 

I was all ready to write them off, and was really surprised. However, if they are the only girl 'group' we have this year, I'll be disappointed. Although any proper girl group would only be around for a few weeks anyway.

 

Wait a sec, it's John person from JH last year. I do remember hearing that he was doing it again. I didn't really notice him from last year, but he's rather good from this one.

Hated him last year, not keen now either. I heard him go flat, and his place in the lives is pretty much certain being the token comeback kid...

I found him overrated anyway. The black guy who fancied Kelly and who had been in prison (I think) was my favourite boy so far. I think he sang an Usher song.

 

I haven't seen an amazing girl so far in all honesty.
