Apparently Carolynne got a standing ovation from the audience and amazing comments from the judges, but the clip didn't really do her justice. Hopefully we'll see more of her in Boot Camp :D

Looking at that list I hope it's:

Girls:

Jade Richards

Misha Bryan

Amelia Lily

Janet Devlin

Boys:

Craig Colton

John Adams

Jonjo Kerr

Lascel Wood

Overs:

(I honestly do not know...)

Groups:

The Keys

2Shoes

There was a group that sang Bust Your Windows too that I really liked, anyone know what they were called? And of course I reckon we'll have the two formed groups, so basically we'll only get 2 groups from the above odds.

Do we know if it's over 25s or over 28s this year? :)
I think it's back to 25. I bloody hope so anyway, I'd imagine there must be a few good 26/27 year olds that could make all the difference. I literally can't imagine how awful it'll be if it was over 28s again!

Surely that list for the girls has GOT to be for definite now. Considering each of them got a lengthy audition and a huge amount of tear-wiping. It means no chances for anyone else (like Chrissie  I could so see her acing Alexis :kink:) but that's got to be it now.

As for overs, we've got Sami Brookes and Terry Winstately probably. Can't think of anyone else, most of these names are blurring now. I'll wait until we have the JH lineup before making a proper prediction. Far less messy then.

How on earth is Misha only 16/1 and that Melanie on 9/1, when we only saw 5 seconds of her and she wasn't even that good
That list of girls in a surefire if its a final 16. If its only a final 12, which do we think will get just lose out :o?
Weirdly Melanie has been on there that high for WEEKS :o I dunno why. She was pretty good though, I'd like to see more. And if it was only final 12, I'd say probably Jade may miss out? I can see her being the token 'peak too early' case - great audition (though watching it back I raved FAR too much) and slowly goes downhill. I'd hope for Janet, she is great but I watched her back and maybe I raved a bit on her too. Misha and Amelia (my personal favourite ) I stand by, they were both fantastic.

I read somewhere Tulisa has to take 4 acts through to the final, so it has to be 16

I've read so many spoilers that I don't know what to believe. I'm sure some 'shockers' that have been left out - have only been left out so that they can make a startling re-appearance in a 'second chance', 'wild card', 'lets fool the public once more' stunt (and why not? They're f*cking easy to fool!)

Still - it works - and it makes Simon his millions - and makes a lot of music lovers happy so I suppose its OK!

WTF though - does Gary Barlow have to look so earnest! Doesn't he know its just light entertainment? No-one they find here is going to have a career beyond three years.

really good to see janet at the top of that list, although I know she isn't going to win. :( I can see her getting through to the final 12 and then becoming this year's diana/cher possibly even lucie.
Girl V Boy on The Xtra Factor were surprisingly good. The girl reminds me of Cher Lloyd vocally, actually :o

I really like those two actually, they've got great harmonies.

Don't know what Tulisa was on about there.

Lascel

was cut at Judge's Houses after

he got laryingitis :-( Shame, he was my fave boy by miles!

Well at least Cheryl wasn't his mentor this time around, he'd have got a pat on the back and a ticket to the finals from her!
Just read in a local newspaper that Frankie Cocozza went to my high school :o Too many years below me for me to remember him but I don't recall ever hearing anybody else from there moving into the entertainment industry, certainly none of the many tiring school nu-metal/rock bands formed by people in my year who were certain that they'd make it big

Is anyone else sick of Kelly's constant crying? She gets on my wick. I know she says some sensible things now and again but overall - she's not that much better than Cheryl. Tulisa is the best female judge (although the little outburst with the woman who reminded her of her mum was a bit over the top.) Speaking of which - surely that woman was more than 32?

And when, oh when, will any of these judges have the balls to stand up to the producers and say that they'll not join in with the ritual humilation of the mentally impaired. You know the contestants (one in particular - her third or fourth appearance) I'm talking about.

Kelly is amazing in that she reveals to the audience through her actions just how staged and scripted the judges are.

I think that Beverley woman is amazing. :o The one who hit that high ass note
I bet Louis Walsh wouldn't have a clue who David Wilding was if he hadn't gotten a card saying so right before he came on.

Considering they are a couple Girl V Boy have no chemistry on stage what-so-ever. Also what is Gary on about not taking risks, isn't that what X Factor and being a popstar in general is all about.

What I would love this year is for a really good mixed gender band come out of X Factor. I don't see it happening though, the producers only seem to care about boybands or girlbands.
