Can't see it doing any better than Nadine's, even though Nicole was always my fav from GA...

It's Nicola I thought and not Nicole?

Plus Beat Of My Drums is better than Insatiable, even though I liked Insatiable.

Insatiable was a huge grower for me. I think I actually still have it on my mp3 player! :o I did prefer Promise This though.

A bit of chart trivia

If Example or Coldplay debuts at #1 next week it will become the 400th single to enter at #1 in its first week according to my records.

Surprise hoolahooping performance to dirtee disco!

Will Dirtee Disco climb the charts!?!? :o That would be a shocker!

It's not actually a bad song though imo.

I love it, one of my favourites by him. Of course it didn't deserve number one but I was very happy for it to get there and I bought it on release week.

Teenage Dream murdered sang on BGT just now, that may climb too :)

#556 and #576 just now.

Yeah. Also, it's good that a British artist was able to get #1 I guess.

I can't remember what it charted above (although I remember it being an all male top 10 and everybody here hated it ), but as long as it didn't beat some really high-selling #2, I guess it's not too bad.

Number 2 that week was 'Nothin' On You', which sold well but had had it's turn at number one

Number 3 was Iyaz 'Solo', which would have been worse than DD if it was number one that week (going 1-10)

Ouch! :o Poison by Nicole Scherzinger would've also gone 1-10 if it got #1! :o Although I would've preferred Poison to be #1 over X Factor Finalists again tbh. I think that week was close in the top 3.

Well, I suppose Dirtee Disco was fine being #1 then. :D

Can I just say: Amazing top 3.

Well, someone had to defend it.

That weeks top 3 was awful imo...

I vividly remember everybody here being completely vile about that top 10 (although I can't remember exactly what it was ), when it was the best the charts had been in months then imo.

Solo was the best in that top 3 imo. Nothin' On You was okay. I love B.o.B, possibly my favourite rapper in 2010, but that song was a bit meh. The beat wasn't very good imo.

Talking about Nothin' On You, I heard a new Bruno Mars song yesterday which sounds a bit like Nothin' On You. It'll be interesting to see how it does in the chart. It won't be getting much (or any) airplay, at least initially, but it'll show us if Bruno Mars has a large fanbase, or if it is truly just radio and MTV that sends him up the chart (I think the latter, after what we witnessed with The Lazy Song).
