I really hope that Nicola's song peaks under Nadine's because "Beat of My Drum" is horrendous beyond belief and "Insatiable" was actually quite good, in my opinion.

 

I'd really like to know what you don't like about this song?

I'd really like to know what you don't like about this song?

It's mainly her voice. There is a horrible effect that has been put onto it that really annoys me as I listen to it, and the "dance to the beat of my drum!" bits also annoy me. I've tried to listen to it a good few times, but I have to turn it off before the end. The song itself isn't that bad, it's just her voice on it.

I quite like this song, but I can't see it doing very well here, since it's not dance-pop or a ballad. :(

 

On the other hand, Bass Down Low might go top 10 after all! :o I mean, surely Fast Car might start dropping a bit soon.

I agree, one listen on BOMD was enough for me.

I've tried to listen to it a good few times, but I have to turn it off before the end. The song itself isn't that bad, it's just her voice on it.

I can't stand that part of the song, I find her voice very annoying at that point which is a shame as I love nicola on the girls aloud stuff (her part in The Loving Kind is the reason why it is my favourite GA song). I hope this is a grower but I am not going to force myself to listen to it again.

I heard this on the radio on Saturday. I hated it even more than Forget You (and as most people probably know, since I rant about it all the time, Forget You is one of my least favourite songs of 2010, so I REALLY don't like I Want You). I actually can't remember how it goes, but what I can remember is being extremely bored when listening to it. Forget You bores me too, but at least I can hear the song moving.

 

Although I've only listened to it once, so maybe it'll grow.

 

About Beat of My Drum, I actually quite like it. It gets bonus points for being different, in a chart where I think we're in need of that atm, and I find the chorus very catchy.

Their fanbase is considerable now, I'd expect nothing less :D plus it's a CHOON, hope it can outpeak the last Transformers single ("New Divide", which was also effectively OA/OS and got no higher than #19 as a result).

Can't believe Nicole Scherzinger is so high with "Right There". :mellow:

 

Why? I think it's quite a good song, and it's been promoted pretty well. Plus, Nicole is in the news all the time at the moment, which can't be hurting.
