I don't understand why don't they play her music to help her get younger fans? :P And why would over 30 year olds be following Aled on Twitter if they don't listen to Radio 1...? It's all so crazy!

Well it's not his personal opinion, he's just surmising what they said in the playlist meeting, but of course it's mad. Aled asked on his Twitter whether people liked Kylie's music and the response was 3:1 in favour of her. But Radio 1 are sadly obsessed with catching a youth demographic and they think most of Kylie's fans are 30+.

 

 

they are retarded, and they are the reason why older artists are selling NOTHING recently, just look at Madonna, Kylie, J-Lo, Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran, Cyndi Lauper & many others flopping because of the ageist policy.... :puke2:

caus' they're too busy playing crap artists like Rita Ora, Labirinth, Wretch 32, DJ FResh trying all to be american & stuff....

even the US charts now has more pop in it!!!

It's obvious that people do still really like Kylie - the reaction from the audience on her Voice performance and when she performed Better Than Today on X Factor will tell you that, so why she isn't played on radio is beyond me!

It's sad Radio 1 don't want to play her anymore, which is a shame considering two years ago she was still perfectly in favour with them. :( I did suspect the day would come though, it's happened to so many artists and they don't seem to like acts who have been around for a long time anymore.

I would be very happy with both outcomes, only thing is sales will trail off now alot during the week.

Kylie to my knowledge doesnt miss the Top 10 with albums and i cant see this release changing that.

Timebomb upto 45 on itunes, perhaps Big Brother effect as apparently it was played last night.

 

Let's hope it continues to rise. SBIT and ATL still roughly holding. Not falling back yet. Surely ATL will sell enough to make the top 200 singles.

All The Lovers will probably be about #125 or so. Anyone have a recent sales total for it?
