Was such a good move to add it to the ‘Magic’ single - I’ve had the EP on loop so SS certainly got some extra plays from me out of it which it wouldn’t have got.

Itunes dropping and big red updates bit partly because it as selling so well yesterday.

 

Youtube Views already nearly 700k worldwide and the Say Something lyric video of week one only did 700k on its 9th day, so she should get quite a few more UK YouTube streaming sales in week one for Magic

Magic 305k however magic was a lot lower down on NMF playlists on Spotify and Magic album version which wasn't on NMF or on any playlists will hopefully continue to keep streaming up for the week

Not many huge new entries this chart week. With Say Something we had 6 new entries on midweek chart in the top 11!

 

Say Something was 52 on Monday midweeks. I am confident Magic will beat this. I could be wrong but there is my reasoning

I think Magic will beat it. Like I said in previous post I could be wrong. I think the Official video release could help it and I think Itunes sales will have been a couple of hundred more. Streaming maybe just less but I think less of a competitive chart this week compared to Say Something.

 

Plus I think BMG and Kylie want this more now and nearer album so they may still have a few tricks

You keep saying this but I really think Kylie and BMG couldn’t care less? If they wanted a Top 40 they could do it easily by releasing the video, remixes, 59p download on iTunes and a vinyl/CD physical bundle and have a Friday release day in one week to snatch that 37-out chart run.

 

The media that support Kylie (R2 etc.,) won’t look at chart positions when it comes to deciding if to add the song to playlists and the general public in reality don’t care about the charts, many would think Kylie’s recent singles have been successful chart wise due to the amount of exposure they have had.

 

As I said I’d love Kylie to have constant Top 40 hits but I’m well over the fact of it happening apart from the odd blip.

I meant Kylie and BMG are more into Magic than Say Something and the remixes, promo will come quickly rather than stretched out.

 

BMG have learned from Say Something. They have added a 2nd download single mix rather than just album version, they have merged the two versions and Say Something for streaming purposes.

 

BMG are aiming for top 40 hits for both songs week of album release or at least peak positions

 

I just hope magic has helped a couple of more album pre orders.

I am more bothered we go back into lockdown before she can get any promo. That BGT final performance on 10th would be vital for both Magic and Disco, but if London locks down beforehand then....
