Nice entry, a cover of one of my favourite dance songs of 2003 by Plummet  Good to hear the melody again!

I never knew it was a cover :o The production sounds so fresh  but then again trance from the late 90s/early 00s is REALLY AMAZING :yahoo: I'm probably trance's biggest fan on Buzzjack :P I own lots of trance compilations, both new and classic ones.

You remind me of me circa 1999-2002, trance was easily my favourite genre and dominated my personal chart. Obviously I still love certain songs from the genre, hence Prance Faris last month although it was a more energetic style of trance than the subtle trance sound of Damaged. I love both styles though.

Chances of qualifying have been damaged (literally)

Once again Danaelanda flop with their new entry from trance producer Antillas and singer Fiora which currently sits at #10 in the official chart. We will be on the lookout for BJSC friendly songs that fit in with the dance theme that we love sending in - in the hope of actually qualifying someday :yahoo: Watch the video below

I really liked your song this month! I gave it 8 points and did think it would qualify :( Great discovery either way, though, so thanks for sending it! :D

Unfortunately for Danaelanda, we have DNQ'd TWICE in a row. So we thought we'd get advice from Buzzjack as to what we should send next. These are the finalists of Danaelandifestivalen. Unoriginal name I know.

Tell me which ones you like and which ones you think will do well, or at least qualify! :P

The winner of Danaelandifestivalen will be announced in this thread shortly after the semi finals open.

Carry Me To Floppadise

Christina Walls with her dance-pop song gives Danaelanda its third DNQ in a row, and its fourth DNQ in total - joining Elena's "Disco Romancing", Radio Killer's "Don't Let The Music End" and Antillas feat. Fiora's "Damaged" in flop zone. Our only entry to not DNQ is Danny Dove & Ben Preston "Falling", our first ever entry and our worst favourite. We will be finding another dance song that we think could do well soon.

I really liked your song and I felt bad that in the end couldn't managed to qualify...you were going up and down all the time.

Airsoul enters Flopzone

Airsoul with their instrumental dance track "Asia" gives us another DNQ. Thanks to those who voted for it. However, we did worse than last contest, getting 41 points. We will be trying to find a vocal dance track to give us that second qualification. If Christina Walls doesn't impress at TBO: The Rejects then I won't be pleased.

I didn't mind your entry this time round, I even voted for it. Shame for you to not qualify again :(
I REALLY liked your entry this month. Sorry you didn't qualify!

Laurentiu Duta for BJSC XLV

This time we have decided to enter an Alexandra Stan soundalike with her song 'Shining Heart'. It features Andreea Banica. If you like the song and you're in my semi, you know what to do :P Hopefully this will give our country our first qualification of 2012.

Thought I would say this is one of my favourite entrys tbh, the song is FANTASTIC.
I really think this could be your most successful entry yet! You've been quite unlucky with your DNQ's so far :(

Laurentiu and Andreea shine their way to 18th

In last nights results it was revealed that Shining Heart finished in 18th place with 81 points, setting a new points record and place record in a BJSC final. The president of Danaelanda is reportedly very happy with this result and he has set the recent qualifiers of Danaelanda the big task of finding the next big entry. He has also said that the recent hipster smoothie takeover will not be affecting the kind of entries that Danaelanda are known for sending. A quote from a recent speech says "even if the top 5 in the final is all indie we will never be leaving our dance roots as it is part of the Danelandian culture that we are known for". Aelan news reports.

Oana Tache Takes Control of another DNQ

Oana Tache finished in 17th place in semi final 2 with 47 points, making us the 2nd closest country to getting a final placing from our semi. If we got 5 more points we would've secured a place in the final but unfortunately that wasn't the case and Danaelanda are back to their DNQing. Aelan news reports.

Listen to our entry below.

Adrian Lux will be representing us this time with our second male-vocal entry (1st = Shining Heart) and our second entry without female vocals (1st = Asia). This is our fourth entry with a credited producer after Danny Dove & Ben Preston 'Falling', Antillas 'Damaged' and Airsoul 'Asia'. Watch the video and read the fun facts below...

÷ Adrian Lux is a dance producer and DJ from Sweden, who is currently one of the big artists on Ultra Records.

÷ His track "Teenage Crimes" was remixed and featured on Swedish House Mafia's "One" album.

÷ This is his second entry into the contest, his previous being in BJSC XX (!), where he came second from bottom

in his semi-final.

If you're in my semi and you like this song, you know what to do

Could U Qualify? No She Couldn't

Andreea Banica takes our 3rd DNQ in a row with 'Could U'. It finished 24th out of 26 scoring only 29 points, our worst performance to date. We believe that this flopped due to the many indie countries in our semi. Having said that we did receive one '12' however we don't know who sent it to us.
