No misunderstanding, that's exactly what I meant

Perhaps there are so many lazy persons who buy it just for its name and text

OK fair enough, there is clearly a 'song' literally there though

do the BEPs have a video out? if not, this could be another top 5 hit for them when video play starts :(

Yeah. Infact, oddly this time, they released the music video only a few days after they announced it as the 3rd single! :o As opposed to Just Can't Get Enough, which took weeks to even get in the top 1000 after radio airplay began, but did manage to climb to #11 before the music video was released.

It's still increasing in MTV plays though. Although I can see it missing the top 10, but I'm already extremely pleased at how its doing, so I don't mind really. I love it, but I think it's poor compared to most of their other singles. Although there are parts of the song I really like (but unfortunately in this song you have to wait 3 minutes before you hear each part again :drama: ).

Not the best of their videos, it's just footage, nothing exciting:

Black Eyed Peas up to #12. I hope they climb more. :)

I hope they don't, it's possibly their worst single to date. It's everything popular in the past 12 months thrown into one 'song'.

I guess I Gotta Feeling is to blame for the whole 'club banger' craze we've had since, although admittedly far more recently - it always takes artists/record companies a while to react to the success of a popular sound and for the identikit copies to arrive. But Don't Stop The Party really is a nothing of a song for me, consider the party stopped if I ever hear it on in a club, I'll be tempted to walk out

DSTP is possibly the most nothingy 'club banger' I've heard to date. But I still somewhat enjoy it unlike, for example, Party Rock Anthem. I do want it to get to at least #11 just to keep their streak going (Request + Line is their only top 40 hit to have not made at least #11, although obviously Imma Be and Alive have peaked lower since then (which is excusable for the latter as it wasn't really a single as such, just a promo song))

I like the bit at the end in the record shop, where it shows some of the songs that I think inspired the BEPs with their music. My dad might know some of them.

Don't Stop the Party makes good background music imo. It's like Notorious in a way. The chorus isn't exactly much of a chorus. More like a bridge.

I know everybody here despises the BEPs, but I think they've got one of the most consistent(ly good) discographies I've ever seen in my lifetime. Most artists, even ones I love like Rihanna, I can think of a bunch of their singles which I can't stand, but I can't think of a single one for the BEPs.

One thing I think is odd is how they released Meet Me Halfway, Imma Be and Alive as promo singles. Alive charted the highest, yet it's the only one that didn't go on to become a proper single. Just as well really I guess. Meet Me Halfway was a massive European smash (one of the biggest songs in Europe in 2010), and Imma Be went on to become a #1 in the US.

Why is every BEP song their 'worst single to date'. I actually like the song, although it does go on a bit too long (6 minutes) :drama: The BEPs of course haven't matched their The E.N.D. singles but they've rushed their new album to stay relevant. I'm sure their next album they'll have more time to do and it will be better :D

I'd HATE to live in Australia if I had to put with PRA at number 1 for SEVEN weeks :drama: Champagne Showers is growing on me lots though! Oh, and US have a worse top 10 atm - only because it has 2 versions of some awful country rap :puke: It's by Jason Aldean, he had a hit with Kelly Clarkson not long ago which I LOVED but this is awful. Ludacris is on a remix of it too

I'm not gonna watch it as its pretty tough sitting through that song (for six minutes as well  ) but thanks anyway

I think there are only 4 BEP singles which have been called their worst single to date. Those being My Humps, Imma Be, The Time (Dirty Bit) and Don't Stop The Party. (I don't think BJ existed when MH was released but if it did I'm sure people would call it their worst single, mainly because it is :puke:)

I would have loved to live in down under this year, where S&M got 5 weeks at number one, BTW got a week, PRA having 7 weeks and also Dirty Talk being number one whereas over here it was a big flop. Unfortunately Grenade still got number one there :(

It's a good thing you don't live in my country, where PRA was number one for EIGHT weeks (btw I'm talking about my made up country, not the UK )

Literally :P The same I can say about the video

Rock Your Body is the worst BEP for me! I'm actually not keen on Where Is The Love if I'm honest. My fave single of theirs is deffo Meet Me Halfway, and I love My Humps, Imma Be and The Time.

I think I only joined here when Rock That Body was released, so it does seem like pretty much every single the BEPs release is called "their worst ever" when it comes out.

But I don't really care. They're arguably the biggest group on the planet. I'm not alone in liking them. :D

Yeah, it's ridiculous! :o

They had the two versions of E.T. in the top 3 aswell at one point!!! :o :o :o Although I think that's actually a good song. :kink:

their worst is probably The Time or My Humps, although this wouldn't be far behind, their very hit and miss for me, I really like some of their songs, but really hate others :(

I dispute that. Not a BIG flop. #25 with some pretty good longevity so far and probably pretty good sales for its peak isn't that bad.

I don't think I've ever been disapointed with a BEP single since they their commercial breakthrough with WITL in 2003 :o I love every one of their singles (except Don't Lie which was a non-event imo)
