As much as I adore Kelis, I will be severely disappointed if this happens. Both artists are capable of far better than this, it's so bland and limp. :(

This probably sounds a bit stupid, but I think the BRITs performance and the success of Someone Like You in the UK has had an effect all over the world. Only a small effect, but if you look at the charts in other countries, you see Someone Like You got cherry-picked a lot in most of them, even though it's only been released as a single in the UK and a couple of other countries.

 

And I also think Adele could get the biggest-selling album of the year. It'll be that or Lady Gaga's album. I can't think of anything else which can come close.

 

And in terms of singles aswell, Rolling in the Deep could do it.

 

For sure, here in Australia they show her BRITs performance on the music channels... no doubt they do it in other countries too :D

I can't decide whether I want Bounce or Spaceship at no.1 :/ both are sort of tuneless but catchy and sort of addictive! I think tinchy and dappy would break some record for a second no.1 collaboration?

Wow! That's awesome! :D I think the BRITs performance probably promotes the song better than any proper music video can.
