65 on Airplay, when I checked yesterday it was 90. ^_^

Absolutely fantastic. How are Pixie and Leona doing?...and where can I see this chart?

The video is a 10. Their best one along with Notorious...

Una just looks AMAZING, I have only eyes for her when I watch the video. The dancers shots are really spectacular, and their poses are epic.

Since when did Kelly Rowland join The Saturdays? Rochelle looks identical to her in the 'Commander' video in the group shots, with her hair tied back! Anyway fabulous video.

LOVE IT, but there are 2 things I would've liked.

1) For their solo parts, they don't look at the camera very much - Maybe some eye contact. Not all the time, as it looks quite slick.

2) I would've loved them to be dancing in the water as well as the dancers :P

Loved it very slick defo one of there best videos. Whenever they peform this song next they so need to wear those black outfits. Had to love during the slow motion hair flip scenes though and Frankie has nothing to work with lol

Frankie's part is just fantastic. Honestly.

That's the worst part by far.

Honestly.

Honestly.

REALLY? :o Someone said that on Popjustice as well. I love it, and it's been my favourite part since I first heard the song. It sounds very trance like.

My only complaint about the video is probably the last chorus. I would have liked a better dance routine or a huge "explosion" of fire or something, lol. But the first part (the "ninja" step outs from behind Vanessa followed by the short wrist swinging movements) is flawless.

I can actually see this going to #2.

I think this will get to #3, but I hope it gets #1 - Much prefer it to All About Tonight now :D
I can't see this peaking lower than 4/5 tbh but I also don't see it at number 1! Whatever happens, I prefer to All About Tonight and of course Collide so I hope it's somehow a number 1

I'm feeling a bit controversial today and I've been reading this thread and thinking the same thing for days now reading this... I honestly think The Saturdays are running a dangerous line.

First and foremost, I ADORE The Saturdays and have done since day 1.

This whole project is going horribly wrong I feel - they made Notorious with a #1 smash in mind, yes? What happened? I don't care if it sold 150k, compared to what the track was expected to do - it flopped, for a lead single from a new studio album from arguably one of the UK's best girlbands, 1 week in the top10 then lulling around the 20's for a while? The whole Notorious campaign went horribly wrong and All Fired Up is going to do the same. I think the song is a bit much, a bit too busy, it actually sounds like a low budget dance track as opposed to a dance / pop single, and the problem with that is - there are a lot of others who do this sound SO much better, it's not what people know them for.

I can't imagine the label are particularly happy about the way The Saturdays have performed either. I think I saw someone else say it a while ago, that as a fan, they wish they could be excited or nervous about them getting to #1 or not, as opposed to praying they have another week in the top20.

From a labels perspective:

Chasing Lights - Decent selling debut album, not amazing, but a solid base to work on.

Wordshaker - Tanked.

Headlines - A little go-between because they didn't want to have to fund an entire new album, and whilst it did alright in terms of sales, you can argue that the price was low from the start, it wasn't a real album etc, etc. Then when you consider the "Higher" debacle it sort of drags you back to Earth a bit.

Notorious - Expected to do massive things chart-wise but completely and utterly falls majorly short of expectations, and THIS is the lead single from the next album...

Not looking good from a labels perspective really is it?

Now please don't attempt to attack me with facts and figures, I'm a Saturdays fan and I'm just being realistic that a lot needs to change and they have a hell of a lot riding on All Fired Up and I don't think the track is gonna be able to carry the weight. I pray I'm proven wrong because The Saturdays fill a massive girlgroup void now that Girls Aloud have gone AWOL.

I agree with most of what you say Kelly, but I do think this era could go moderatley well if the 3rd single i mid-tempo/ballad and performed on the X-Factor, which I think they could get if the Wanted got a slot!
Video is pretty good. Still not a huge lover of the song yet. Much prefer 'All About Tonight' and 'Collide'. ('Freedom' pisses on all of them though).

I agree that would go a long way to helping, but keeping in mind didn't we have the same sort of "well they should have a slot if such and such can..." on BGT not long ago? I think the chance of Simon promoting The Saturdays is very slim.

Moreover, from the new albums standpoint, Wordshaker absolutely tanked but yet it spawned a #2 single (which I did then and I still do love by the way  ), and one of their highest selling singles in Ego, but it still couldn't shift copies. :( So what hope is the new album gonna have? As I said, a lot is riding on All Fired Up and I do hope it delivers, because in this climate an artist delivering minor hits with meek sales are not going to last long. :(

For the third single i think it should be a euphoric dance ballad, then in keeping with the style of the first 2 singles and should hopefully sell the album more.

Even though the Sugas aren't releasing on Sept 4 anymore: Freedom >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Collide >>>>> All About Tonight > All Fired Up. And I really like all 4 :D

All Fired Up is growing on me a lot more now the video's out and I think it will overtake Pixie - All About Tonight is already getting overplayed a bit :)

I think All Fired Up will defo get top 5, but no higher due to the competition from Leona, Pixie, Ed and Example :)

Too early to call it their best video? It does look quite brilliant though, this is really how the 'Work' video should have looked like if they had any budget. It's professional, slick and a bit amazing. They've progressed so much. *looks at them all proud, like they're my children*

Song still isn't all that admittedly. And Vanessa still looks like she hates it all. And she still can't lip-sync to save her life. And every solo shot appears to show her at her worst angle. Poor Nessa in general. Apparently the entire band can fit behind her without being seen now.

(I've reviewed it in much more detail in my blog, link below)

For the 3rd single I'd like a proper ballad for the winter (which would ideally get an X-Factor slot and be similair in sound to Jar Of Hearts) or a Robyn-esque 'disco ballad', both of which would suit them very well and sound different to the club banger trend.

Oh and:

All Fired Up >>>>>>>> All About Tonight >>> Freedom >>>>>>>>>> Collide

I love the first 3 and I do quite like Collide.

whoaaa since when did Rochelle become one of the best lookin?! DARK HORSE
Haha I was literally just about the same/similar thing!

Anyway. I LOVE the video and this song is fast becoming one of my favourite Saturdays songs. Although it only has 6 lyrics or whatever, it strangely doesn't sound repetitive. I don't think I'll quite understand the hate the song gets. It's a different sound for a girl band to take on and make it work, but I feel The Sats have done that. I still have no idea about where or how well it'll chart though. I want Top 3, but I know that it probably won't get there and will stall far too quickly.

Fabulous video, third single ideally will be a massive pop track with an explosive chorus followed by a ballad in January. I hope they release around 6 singles from this album though :)

You forget to add "with an airplay peak of #36". Yes, the overall results were truly underwhelming, but you can't blame the song, the sound nor the group. You can tell general people LOVED the track, as they have had the same sales of previous singles that were much more supported by radios (Forever was #6 and Missing You hit the #1!).

You can blame a lot of things, radios not supporting on air/on sale releases, the management scheduling the promotion two weeks after the release date...there were a lot of issues that won't happen this time.

Now, with All Fired Up being supported by radios and with the great response from the public it looks this single will do really good. The biggest challenge for the #1 will be Pixie Lott and her major radio support. Leona won't be a big deal given that her song is yet to chart inside the top100 of airplay and she won't have the video out until next week as the soonest, so she'll miss that promotion. Plus, the response of the public has been really underwhelming for her song.
