June 14, 201114 yr Wow, never expected to see a Tuesday report like this. Calvin Harris at #1, Ed Sheeran at #2 and Example pushed down to #3?! I expect it'll go Example-Harris-Sheeran come Sunday, but whatever happens within the top 3 will still leave me very satisfied - all three singles are extremely strong and deserving of credit. As for the Tuesday muck-ups, 'Awooga' will no doubt fall to the edge of the top 75, J-Lopez's 'On the Floor' will probably fall to the latter half of the top 20 and Tinchy & Dappy should appear within the top 5 - if they replace Scherzinger there'd be a British artist in each top 4. It's likely the top 3 is a 'Tuesday muck-up' as well - iTunes data appears to be missing and if it's added in it could easily alter the top 3. We'll see what it's like tomorrow, I'd expect Example to be back at #1 with Calvin at 2 and Ed at 3, Tinchy showing up around 5 or 6. Calvin and Ed could possibly be the other way round but I doubt it. I really hope Ed can hold onto #3 all week :D Awooga will disappear entirely as it'll get combined to Bounce. June 14, 201114 yr I don't want to rain on your parade, I wish you stop asking that, if the track was in the 40, I would have posted it in the update. I usually post all climbers in the update. Oh Martin "rain on your parade" is duffy, not adele (see what I did there?). Adele prefers to set fire to it, despite it being duffys career which has gone up in smoke  Bad jokes over. Hopefully Calvin will hold no1 when the bside and physical are combined in. And SEB album finally out? Never thought I'd see the day!
June 14, 201114 yr So SEB hold back her album for absolutely ages, only for it to be #16 on the first mids  It'd be funny if the same happened to Dr. Dre's Detox. Although anything will seem disppointing for that to be fair :P

Although anything will seem disppointing for that to be fair :P In April 2008 she announced there would be a new album out around September of that year, if that gives any indication of the painstaking wait we've had for this. :( To her credit though, her record label shelved the album and dropped her late last year and she's had to set up her own label to get this out there.
June 14, 201114 yr glad to see adele holding up. Someone sang One and Only by Adele at The X Factor today, and got a fantastic reception... thats another potential Adele hit in the making Edited June 14, 201114 yr by simplyobsessed
June 14, 201114 yr Someone sang One and Only by Adele at The X Factor today, and got a fantastic reception... thats another potential Adele hit in the making :P I'm sure there's been at least one audition with a great reception for every single one of the tracks on '21'. XF11 was always going to be a good one for Adele :P Edited June 14, 201114 yr by Bray

April 2008? :o That's a pretty long wait, but Dr. Dre's album, Detox, was announced in 2003 (for a release originally in 2004), so imagine how painstaking the wait must've been for his fans (and it still doesn't have a release date)! And talking about Dr. Dre, I'm actually surprised Bad Meets Evil's album (which by contrast to Dr. Dre's, has been released quite promptly after being announced ) isn't doing better. I know it's doing very well, but I thought fanbase buys would be large enough to get it much higher.
June 14, 201114 yr Shame Wonderland have dropped so much, all they can hope for now is they drop no further, i really think its over for them as i cant see them getting to make a 2nd album.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I wouldn't be able to cope if an artist I liked did that! :o It's funny though, because people at work had a small conversation about her today. It wasn't even about her album, but I was thinking it's a bit of a coincidence.
June 14, 201114 yr I'm always baffled when the public decides to get behind such a random song (and one as hideously bland as this one). Hear hear.
June 14, 201114 yr glad to see adele holding up. Someone sang One and Only by Adele at The X Factor today, and got a fantastic reception... thats another potential Adele hit in the making oh no  that means it is gonna be MYFML all over again!! Didn't Gary and Louis ask the people auditioning to stop singing Adele....imagine every saturday there will be people singing Adele :puke2:
