Foster the People's 'Pumped Up Kicks' is also released tomorrow. After Greg James' 'The Bum Dance' which he invented for this song, Radio 1 have been playing it a lot - so hopefully it'll get a top 40 positioning; I think top 100 is at least guaranteed.

Although the guy was playing Grenade a little bit wrong. In Grenade, in the actual song anyway, when it gets to the bottom note of the chord it jumps straight back to the top note, like in Clocks and When Love Takes Over. Whilst when he got the bottom note, he just went back up to the previous note in the chord, like it does in Someone Like You. :coffee:

I think Soundgirl will do better than Parade. That Soundgirl song has been played every ad brake on 4music and I have seen the whole video far more than Parade. I have heard 'Don't Know Why' on Radio 1 three times aswell, and have not heard 'Perfume' on there once. Plus 'DKW' is actually a good song and 'Perfume' is awful. I can see both going top 40, but DKW going top 30, around 25. I can see it doing similarly to Starboy Nathan, which also had a lot of promotion on 4music advert breaks.

It has climbed a lot, it has gone from 0.35 to 0.42, that saved it from getting overtaken by gaga and looks set to go above aloe blacc quite soon

On the other hand, Parade has almost 270k views on Youtube while Soundgirl doesn't even 30k. Granted, none of those are spectacular but the Parade is clearly raising more interest.

I can't see Parade OR SoundGirl even approaching the top 40. Maybe Parade could scrape into the low top 40 at best but I can see it easily doing a Mini Viva - I Wish.

I think Parade could do a bit better than people are expecting (Louder did after all) although Soundgirl I've never heard of, I can't see that doing much

Soundgirl supported Pixie Lott & Justin Bieber. I wish I'm The fool was released! Parade will do well. Louder did brilliant to enter the top 10 but after that plummeted hard.

'Louder' had the benefit of being played on an advert though. Plus it was better than this unpolished turd.

 

Having said that, both songs are truly $h!t. I mean, who the hell wrote/produced them? Not even worthy of a rating. -_-

Perfume is not $h!t! It's truly the song of the year and is in the same category as The Club Is Alive, Pack Up and Heart Vacancy. :cheer:

What are you talking about? Soundgirl have 271,381 views on YouTube and Parade have 268,815 so infact Soundgirl have more views, even though Parade are better known from their first single, hence why I think Soundgirl will do better. Plus Perfume have a bigger dislike bar than Don't Know Why. Honestly, I don't think you can tell easily from YouTube but you are wrong about Perfume having so many more views than Don't Know Why.
