Vato seems to be slowing down now :(

87- Chris Brown ft Justin Bieber/ Next 2 You

The Vato track is just hideous, I wish it jumps the other way, I prefer Jason over it, mind you both tracks are just as bad as each other.
Only just realised 'Beat Of My Drum' is all the way down at #76. OUCH. And thats with a promotional T4 performance yesterday.

I really disliked Dont Wanna Go Home at first but after the endless amount of times i've seen the video its kinda been hammered into my head.

So its definitely heading for top 10 at the least..

Cant believe I'm Into You didnt even go up 1or 2 places after Alan Carr  Dont get it!

Edge Of Glory will probably have one of her versions in top 10 soon i'm sure.

Adele update:

Set Fire To The Rain  #21 :(

Someone Like You holding stron at #26 :o amazing!

Rolling in the Deep back in top 40 at #35! :D

Certainly Team SoundGirl this week! As a poster said above, their image is really refreshing and, while the song isn't ground-breaking, it's nice to see a song that isn't the same as everything else in the charts. Hopefully it can go top 20 - but I hope it can go top 10.

Do they have any TV slots lined up?

In all fairness Alan Carr dosen't really have the greatest impact on songs climbing up the charts. I remember Cheryl Cole performed The Flood & Promise This and Promise This dropped and the flood climbed 1-2 places. Ellie Goulding also had not much impact after performing Lights.

I would say the best place to perform is Paul O Grady or Graham Norton! Look at the impact Gaga has had!

I hope Soundgirl keep climbing!

Next To You likely to climb all week, but it is a weak song. Can anyone quickly summarise what the twitter 'beef' as with him yesterday..? And now he's re-tweeting negative tweet  lol

That remix of SoundGirl is brilliant! I just purchased the song. They deserve to do well!

Anyway who knows they might be ahead of Parade combined as they have two versions top 300! The song really should have been 0.79p!

Can anyone tell me where Saturdays remixes are?

There is something wrong with the UK if Jason Derulo goes to #1 with such a lazy effort of a song. It's time 50% jury was introduced or even some sort of "seperation system" with the US acts kept seperate from the UK ones.

Parade = enjoy life on the game as this song is a FLOP.

Perfume is awful. :puke: Parade are irritating too, they wont be around long.

Beat Of My Drum is embarassing too, after a T4 PERFORMANCE and hasnt climbed out of he 70s?

Are you actually being serious about this? I can't tell.

I am being serious. We need to stop the R and B generic American rubbish from hijacking the charts. A jury will make the chart a lot better and stop crap going to #1.

Hopefully at least three top 40s there... maybe even five if Hard-Fi and Parade get a shift on. It would be surreal if "Good For Nothing" missed the top 40 given how well "Suburban Knights" did particularly on iTunes - I didn't follow the feed at the time but I seem to recall it going as high as #2 behind Kanye's "Stronger" but it only got to #7 officially.

It will make the chart a lot better in *your* opinion, yes.

But believe it or not, the reason this so called 'R and B generic American rubbish' is 'hijacking the charts' is because *gasp* these songs are actually POPULAR! Any attempt to change the chart to not reflect this will make the chart completely meaningless.

But why should a jury decide what goes to number one. Then their would be not point of the public buying any music, cause they couldnt pick was goes to number one. And how do you decide what is "crap"?

Having seen the new releases, I'm firmly on team EXAMPLE for the third week in a row. That said, I actually don't mind SoundGirl's track although having heard it lots throughout BJSC XXXIV, it's had plenty of time to grow on me.

Jason Derulo and Vato Gonzalez may be the two highest new releases on iTunes but, like last week with Calvin Harris and Tinchy Dappy, they are easily the worst two new releases this week imo.

Foster the People ^_^ (will never overtake Jason Derulo but it's good to see them doing well)

It's all down to a matter of opinion to what's crap. For every song there's somebody who loves a track, and somebody who dosen't like a track. For the record, I think Nikki Minaj is terrible, but there's alot of love on this forum for her, which I don't have a problem with. The charts are a list of what's the most purchsed track of the week, if we split them up into US/UK charts, how will we know?
